CAPPS to host Summer Jam program

CAPPS ( Changing Performance and Promoting Success) is holding its third annual “Summer Jam” June 4-29, 8 A.M. – noon each day. This program is being held at three sites in the County, Eiland Middle School, Nanih Waiya and Noxapater, and is free to LMSD students who are entering grades 5-12. At Summer Jam” students will engage in academic enrichment lessons written by Mississipi State University professors that will target state framework and objective in math, language arts, and science. Physical education, music, and character education will also be emphasized. Students will be instructed by certified teachers in a small group setting and weekly field trips are planned.
