Pilot Club shows Christmas spirit

‘Tis the Season! The Pilots have been busy spreading their Christmas cheer as they visited the Noxapater Attendance Center and hosted a party for the developmentally delayed youngsters.

Then on December 13, in conjunction with the Anchor Club, a party was held for the Louisville Hudspeth Center residents.

After delicious holiday refreshments were served and voices sang out joyous Christmas carols, Santa Claus, aka, Larry Massey appeared!

There was no chimney for him to come down, but he delighted the guests of honor as they received their gifts from him.

After the Hudspeth Center residents left, President Delaine Woodruff convened a short business meeting and anchor member, Emily Mills, informed the Pilots on Chiari, a brain-related disorder, which she and Anna Claire Webb will present as a special project at HOSA at Louisville High School.

It was heartwarming to visit with Pilots Bernice Pearson, Sue Fulcher, Thelma Roberts and Sarah Ward and we believe they whispered to Santa what they want for Christmas.

As part of The Pilot Club mission it presents a BrainMinder program that promotes safety and prevention of brain related injuries that is geared to young children.
