Lil’ Blessings Consignors needed

From press reports Lil’ Blessings , a mission based organization of First Baptist Church, Louisville, will be hosting their spring/summer children’s consignment sale this March 22-23. From baby items to children’s clothing and toys to youth size clothing, Lil’ Blessings will be selling to the public a wide variety of nearly new items for very affordable prices. Twice a year Lil’ Blessings hosts this huge sale and is always in need of additional consignors. “ I love Lil Blessings ,” says Shalonda Triplett. “I shop and consign at the sale. As a shopper, I always find some items that are new and still have the original sale tags. As a consignor, the sale is very organized and the volunteers are so helpful,” states Triplett. Bridget McLendon, a long time consignor and shopper of Lil’Blessings, is pleased that the sale benefits mission work and provides extra cash for her family while cleaning out her children’s closets. “ One sale,” said McLendon, “I received my consignor check from Lil’ Blessings within hours of the time that my dryer quit working. The consignor check from the sale came at just the right time for me to buy a new dryer.” Lil Blessings consignment sale is a great way to do some spring house cleaning while benefiting missions, and earning money from items that no longer are needed or have been outgrown . Lil’ Blessings volunteers offer full – consignment service for those who wish to donate the clothes to this worthwhile community outreach program. For the consignors who desire to earn extra cash, Lil’ Blessings offers instructions for the do-it –yourself consignors. Some people like to do the work and just drop off their items. Since the sale is well advertised, and volunteers do all of the selling for the consignors, some choose to do their own tagging and pricing of their merchandise. However, consignors of 10 items or more, and volunteers who work on the sale are allowed to shop at the preview sale. This consignment sale is a win – win situation for busy families who wish to be wise stewards of their possessions.
