Fifth Year Anniversary Services March 17
Endtime Sanctuary UPC will be celebrating their fifth year
anniversary services March 17, 2013. The church is located at 202
East College Street in Louisville. Sunday morning begins at 10:05
P.M. Speaker for the service will be Rev. Lloyd Adcock, from
Brandon, formerly from Philadelphia. Pastor and Mrs. Marlon Adcock
invite everyone to come out and celebrate with them and their church

Concert to be held
March 17, 2013
There will be a concert held at Pilgram Rest Baptist Church located
on Humphrey Road in Nanih Waiya, on March 17, 2013 at 3:00 pm. Pastor
Donald will be singing. Seven Ministers will be preaching from the
Book of Revelations. Public is invited. Come and be blessed.

Spring Revival March 17
Mt Sinai Missionary Baptist Church of Louisville will be holding its
Spring Revival service from Sunday, March 17, 2013 through Wednesday
March 20, 2013. The revival service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
nightly. The Rev. Benjamin Pittman, pastor of Mt Moriah Missionary
Baptist Church will be our guest speaker. The public is invited.

NAACP to meet March 18
The Winton County NAACP Branch will hold its March 19, 2013 monthly
meeting at Louisville Annex, adjacent to the Louisville Courthouse.

Youth revival March 18
Mount Cannie Missionary Baptist Church of Louisville, Ms will be
having their Youth Revival Monday March 18- Wednesday March 20, 2013.
The revival will begin each night at 7:30 P.M. The guest speaker will
be Evangelist Essie Jackson from Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist

Nanih Waiya FAFSA Day for Seniors March 19
FAFSA Day for Seniors will be held at Nanih Waiya Attendance Center
on Tuesday, March 19 from 8:30 to 2:30 p.m. Students will receive
one-on-one assistance in completing federal (FAFSA) and state forms
for college financial aid. Please contact Tammy Parkes to set up an
appointment. Parents are encouraged to attend this appointment with
their child. Appointments will be on a first-come first-served basis.

RELAY FOR LIFE Bake Sale March 22
Winston Medical Center Relay for Life Team will be having a
Brooksville Bakery bake sale on Friday, March 22 from 8:00 a.m.-until
in the front lobby of Winston Medical Center. Advance orders can be

deadline for special orders will be Wednesday, March 20 at noon.

Class of 1973 meeting March 23
Class of 1973 will be meeting on March 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winston

Center Ridge day planning March 23
Anyone interested in helping to plan the annual Center Ridge Cleanup
Day should plan to attend the planning meeting set for March 23 at
noon in the city hall.
The annual Center Ridge event is set for Sunday, May 26.

Chiefs football signup is February 16, February 23, March 9, March
23, 2013 at the Chiefs Field (Eiland middle school) from 9am to 12pm.

Singing set for March 24
Mt Calvary Baptist Church of Louisville will have a gospel singing
program Sunday, March 24 at 3:00 p.m. The special groups will be The
Psalm Trio from Philadelphia, MS and the Gospel Soul Searches from
Attala County. $250.00 in cash will be given away and lunch will be
served after this program.

Moriah revival April 7
The Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church will hold its 2013 Spring
Revival Services begining Sunday April 7, 2013 and ending Wednesday
April 10, 2013. Service will begin at seven o’clock each evening.
The evangelist will be Rev. Nathaniel Houston, pastor of the Miller
Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Macon, Mississippi. Please join

Greensboro C. M. E. Church Family and Pastor Carl Swanigan will be
having their annual Missionary Program the first Sunday, April 7,
2013 at 4:00 p.m. The guest speaker will be Minister Elezena Ivy of
Greensfield M. B. Church and the group will be Micheal and Divine
from Brooksville, MS Bethel Male Chorus of Louisville. The public is

Union revival April 24
Union Chapel M.B. will have revival services April 24th – April

A Benefit will be held in honor of Wayne Burchfield on April 6, 2013
at Lobutcha Volunteer Fire Dept on Hinze Rural Hill Rd. off HWY 14W.

Winston Medical Center Relay for Life Team Hosts Disney Character
Dining Day May 4
Winston Medical Center Relay for Life Team will host a disney
Character Dining Day on May 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Tiak O’
Khata. The cost will be $15.00 per person which includes plenty of
entertainment, lunch, and door prizes. There will be “disney”
characters such as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Snow White, Cinderella,
Tinkerbell, and several more on hand to mingle and entertain the
children. Paige’s Photos will be on hand to take 4×6 photos with the
characters for $5.00 each. The deadline to purchase tickets will be
April 20, 2013 to allow time to prepare proper arrangements. Tickets

Pioneer Day on May 11, 2013. Spaces open to arts & crafts vendors
selling items including, antiques, jewelry, woodcrafts, needle arts,

Spelling contest May 31
Do you have what it takes to stand against the rest. Sign up to
participate in I’ll Rise End of School Spelling Bee coming May 31,
2013 and June 1, 2013.
Pre-register starts now and ends March 31, 2013. Late registration
ends April 30, 2013
Sign up Fees: $15 before March 31, 2013, $25 before April 30, 2013.
Payment must be received along with signup sheet in order to hold
your child’s spot in the Spelling Bee.
All Mississippi Public Private, and Home Schooled Children are
encouraged to compete. No area restriction all children are welcome
to participate.
Grades Competing: Head Start – 8th. A cash prize up to $350 or 1st,
2nd and 3rd place will be given.
Pick up a copy of the Spelling Bee packet at your local library,

Walking in Wellness each Saturday
A Walking and Wellness group will be walking Saturdays from 9:00am –
10 am at Ivy Park in Louisville. All are invited to come enjoy the
exercise and fun.

AA Meets
Louisville/Winston County Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet Monday
and Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. beginning the first week of January
2012 on the second floor of the community house. Meetings until then
will still take place on Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30 p.m.

County Paparazzi
The Winston County Paparazzi is working with the MSU Extension Office
in Louisville to offer monthly meetings for photography enthusiasts.
The meetings are the fourth Thursday of each month at the MSU
Extension Office. in Louisville at 6pm and are open to everyone. For

La Leche League of Louisville
La Leche League of Louisville meets monthly on the 4th Saturday from
1-2 p.m. at the County Extension Building. La Leche League offers
mother-to-mother support, leaders accredited by La Leche League

Winston County Library Friday February 2nd at 8:30 a.m. These
services will be provided every Wednesday and Friday through April
