Mrs Brookie Lorene Lampley
February 15, 2013
Funeral services for Mrs Brookie Lorene Lampley, 64 were held at
12:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasanat No. 2 M.B. Church. Rev. Curtis Johnson
officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

A native of Noxapater, Ms. Lampley was a social worker and a member
of Mt. Pleasant No. 2 M. B. Church in Noxapater. She died at
Memorial Baptist in East Memphis TN February 15, 2013. She was born
in Noxapater May 18, 1948.

She is survived by her husband Rev. Sylvester Lampley, one daughter,
Zanthresa Lachelle of Memphis TN; three sons, Stacey Arnez, Gail
Svante and Shondrice Dewon; four sisters Florese, Mattye, Martha
and Rosa, nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives
and friends.

Mr. D.C. Donald
March 10, 2013
Funeral Services for Mr. D.C. Donald, 89, were held at 1:00 p.m. at
Pleasant Ridge M. B. Church, Saturday March 16, 2013. Elder Harvey
McDonald officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

A native of Noxapater, Mr. McDonald was a retired farmer and a member
of Pleasant Grove M. B. Church, and a veteran of World War II. He
was born in Noxapater on November 18, 1923 and died at Winston
Medical Center Sunday, March 10, 2013.

Survivors are two daughters; Rosie Mae Mays and Virginia Carter both
of Noxapater, four sons; Willie Ray McDonald, Robert McDonald, Robert
C. McDonald and Leon McDonald; one sister Maude G. Coburn, of
Noxapater, and one brother; Albert McDonald.

Ms Karen Michelle Davis
March 9, 2013
Funeral Services for Ms Karen Michelle Davis, 52, were held at 11:00
a.m. at Louisville High School, Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Dr. Ivory
McDaniel officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Ms. Davis was a deputy Clerk for the City of
Louisville and a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was
born in Louisville on May 17, 1960 and died at Baptist Memorial
Hospital in Columbus, MS Saturday, March 9, 2013.

Survivors are her mother Lestine Davis Hall and step Dad Melvin Hall,
one daughter; Ariel Michelle Brawner of Louisville, two sons Ronnie
Mitchell Brawner, two sons; Ronnie Mitchell Brawner, Jr. and
Christian Tobias Brawner both of Louisville, five sisters Jacqlyne
Hathorn, Teresa Hopkins, Angela Coleman, Paulette Dailey and Crystal
Davis all of Louisville and four brothers; Dwight Davis of Killeen,
Tx., Darrien Davis, Tyrone Davis, and Eric Davis all of Louisville,
one grandchild and Aunts, Uncles Nieces, Nephews and other relatives
and friends.

Mr. Parker Harris, Jr.
March 12, 2013
Funeral Services for Mr. Parker Harris, Jr., 65, were held at 2:00
p.m. at Beck Funeral Home, Sunday, March 17, 2013. Reverend David
Harris officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Garden.

A native of Louisville, Mr. Harris was a laborer. He was born in
Louisville on February 6, 1948 and died at North Mississippi Medical
Center in Ruleville, Ms, Tuesday, March 12, 2013.

Survivors are six daughters; Shirley White, of Louisville, Shirley
Steele of Pearl, Verna Dawson of Starkville, Mary Best of Atlanta,
GA., Janet Hubbard of CA., Tammy Harris of Jackson, MS; five sons,
Chris White of Louisville, MS, Vondral Johnson of Philadelphia, MS,
Kenneth Harris of Laurel, MS, Trumell Evans and Radell Combest both
of Milwauke, WI; one sister Mary Jo Roberson of Louisville an done
brother Bobby Harris of Brookhaven, Ms, a host of grandchildren
Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends.

Ms. Mary Ann Ashford Mosley Liddell

Funeral Services for Ms. Mary Ann Ashford Mosley Liddell, 81, were
held at 12:00 noon. at New Zion M. B. Church, Louisville, Saturday,
March 16, 2013. Reverend James Morris officiating. Burial followed
in the church Cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Ms. Liddell was a retired educator and a
member of Wesley United Methodist Church near Louisville. She was
born in Louisville on September 12, 1931 and died at her home, Ms,
Wednesday, March 13, 2013.

Survivors are four sons Bobby T. Miller of Starkville, Scott Mosley
of Scottsdale Ar., Cecil Mosley Jr., Goodyear Az., and Bobby Ray
Mosley of Houston TX. and three brother Freddie Ashford of
Louisville, Preston Ashford of Chicago IL, and Roy Ashford of South
Hill , VA, many grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews and
other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Clara Jordan

Mrs. Clara Jordan, 86, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at her home in
Louisville. Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday,
March 13th at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Larry Haggard
officiating. Porter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Jordan was born April 15, 1926, in Maben, MS, to Rosie and
Thomas Smitson. She was a 1946 graduate of Lee High School in
Columbus, MS; and worked as a clerk for Mr. A. Q. Anderson and Mr.
Charley McCool at Doctor’s Pharmacy for many years. She was a member
of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan C. Jordan, Sr.

She is survived by a son, Danny Jordan of Louisville; three
daughters, J. J. Jordan, Carol Patterson, and Charlotte Files, all of
Louisville; a niece, Johnna Williamson of Louisville; six
grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Mr. Billy Allbritton

Mr. Billy Allbritton, 85, died on March 17, 2013, at the Bee Hive
Home in Louisville. Visitation was held at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home
on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Nowell-Massey
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Interment was
in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Allbritton was born January 15, 1928, to Robert E. Lee and
Lummie McKay Allbritton. He served in the United States Marine Corps
and was retired from
General Motors Corporation in Flint, Michigan. After retiring Billy
returned home to Louisville
Mr. Allbritton is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Stone, her
husband, Alan, of Fairmont, WV, and Barbara Korlath, her husband,
Bill, of Raymond, MS; three grandchildren, Robert Stone, Jon Korlath,
and Susan Stone; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Austin
Stone. He is also survived by one sister, Christine Odom; as well as
numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Melba
Reed and her staff at the Bee Hive Home of Louisville for the
exceptional long term care they provided.

Eaves Rogers

Mrs. Minnie Clara Eaves Rogers, 77, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at
her daughter’s home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services were held at
2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 9th, at Bethel Baptist Church, with Rev.
David Keen officiating. Interment was in Bethel Baptist Church
Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rogers was born June 28, 1935, in Winston County, MS. She was
a teacher for 32 years, first at Neshoba Central, then in the
Louisville Public School System, and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Berlin Thomas
Rogers; her parents, Tildon and Lillian Eaves; her son, John Thomas
Rogers; one great grandchild, Brandon Thomas McKinley; and her
brother, Dr. James Doyle Eaves.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Tommy) McKinley, Kathy
(Joe) Hodge, and Donna Sinclair, all of Louisville; one brother, Dr.
Glen (Ann) Eaves, of Knoxville, TN; one sister, Janice Gee, of
Thibodaux, LA; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were The Deacons of Bethel Baptist Church.

Mr. Rabel Eugene
Jones

Mr. Rabel Eugene Jones, 89, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013,
in the Mississippi State Veterans Nursing Home in Kosciusko,
Mississippi. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday,
March 13, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral
services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013, in the
Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment was in Beth Eden
Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Mr. Jones was born on September 17, 1923, to Butler and Alma
Froshour Jones. He was a Christian affiliated with the First Baptist
Church of Kosciusko. He was a welder retiring from Taylor Machine
Works of Louisville. Mr. Jones
answered the call to serve his country during World War II by serving
in the United States Army in the Philippine and Solomon Islands
campaigns.

Mr. Jones is survived by his daughters, Faye Flake and husband,
Jimmie, and JoAnne Harsh and husband, Dan, all of Louisville. He is
also survived by three grandsons, Stephen Flake and wife, Ann, Chris
Flake and wife, Quintina, and Eddie Harsh and wife, Crystal. Also,
Mr. Jones is survived by his sister, Pauline Gazaway of Sturgis; and
his sisters-in-law, Carlene Jones, of Sturgis; and Frances Hamill of
Louisville. Mr. Jones has three great-granddaughters, Josie Cate
Flake, Jenna Breeland Flake, and Lilly Grace Harsh; as well as a host
of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Laura Mae Hamill
Jones; his grandson, Ken Harsh; his parents; and two brothers, Fred
and Robert Jones.

Serving as pallbearers were Eddie Harsh, Stephen Flake, Chris Flake,
Junior Jones, Ricky Jones, and Kevin Wells.

Memorials may be given to Mississippi State Veterans Home, 310
Autumn Ridge Drive, Kosciusko, MS 39090. Arrangements are under the
direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue,
Louisville, MS.
