Mr. Niles David Puckett
March 16, 2013
Niles, born in Starkville, passed away in Denver, Colorado at the age
of 32.

He is survived by his parents, Benny Ronald “Ronnie” and Tara
Bouchillon Puckett; his sister, Ginger Michelle; and many friends.

Visitation was held at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 E. Hampden
Avenue in Denver, Colorado Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060
S. Monaco Parkway in Denver, Colorado Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at
10:00 a.m.

Mr. E. J. Green
Services for E. J. Green were held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 1 p.m.
from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernell Daniels
officiating. Burial followed in Dry Creek Cemetery in Preston, MS
with McClain-Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Green, 90, of Preston, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Neshoba
County Nursing Home in Philadelphia.
He was a native and lifelong resident of the Preston community in
Kemper County and a retired farmer. Mr. Green was a member of Dry
Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Agnes Fleming and Angela Clark;
son, Guy D. (Wayne) Green, all of Louisville; four grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; sisters, Marylon Hall of Louisville and
Idell Stokes of Preston.

Pallbearers were Steve Triplett, Wally Triplett, Kenny Richardson,
Larry Alexander, Jay McLendon and Lowell Goodin.

Mr. Mike Fish
Mr. Mike Fish, 53, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in his
residence in Noxapater. Visitation was Friday, March 22, 2013, at
Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services were held
at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating. Interment was in New
Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Fish was born on September 20, 1959, to William Fish and Ann
Barnhill Corley. He was employed by Choctaw Glove of Noxapter in the
Maintenance Department.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Fish of Noxapater; his mother, Ann
Corley, and husband, Robert, of Alexandria, Louisiana; his daughter,
Nicole Lee Fish of Noxapater; and his sons, Michael Fish of Noxapater
and Jamie Barnhill of Meridian, Mississippi. He is also survived by
his sisters, Connie Forbes of Colorado Springs, CO; and Kristy Lee
Royall of Alexandria, Louisiana. Mr. Fish has four brothers: Kyle
Glenn Barnhill of Little Rock, Arkansas; Robert Corley, Jr.; Scott
Hall; and Jason Corley, all of Alexandria, Louisiana.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Sullivan, Dustin Sullivan, Ronnie
Holyk, Kevin Weeks, Charlie Alexander, and Roger Garrad. Steve Weeks
will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Mr. Prentiss Lamar Wright
Mr. Prentiss Lamar Wright, 57, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013,
at his residence in Noxapater. Visitation was on Friday, March 22,
2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services
were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013, in the Nowell-
Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Lowrey officiating.
Interment was in Sunrise Memorial Cemetery in Noxapater.

Mr. Wright was born on July 25, 1955, to Prentiss Odell and Mary
Alice Lee Wright. For 27 years he was employed as a Shipping Clerk
with Taylor Machine Works of Louisville.

Mr. Wright is survived by his sons, Jeremy Wright of Carthage; and
Josh Wright and of Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. He is also survived by four
grandchildren. Also, Mr. Wright is survived by his sisters: Martha
Lois Sharp of Philadelphia; Dianne Huntley Louisville; and Joann
Hubner of Pensacola, Florida; and his brother, Kent Hillhouse and of
Noxapater.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Gentry, Bill Hubner, David
Hubner, Jimmy Huntley, Justin Huntley, and Charles White.

Mr. Jimmy R. Tingle
Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy R. Tingle will be held at 1 pm Wed.,
March 27, 2013 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John Stephens &
Rev. Larry Savell officiating. Interment will be in the Tingle Family
Cemetery. Visitation was 5-9 PM Tues., March 26, 2013 at John E.
Stephens Chapel Funeral Services.

Mr. Tingle, 69, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Anderson
Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. He lived in the Fairview
Community most of his life. He was an equipment operator. He was a
member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mr. Tingle is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lois Tingle of Phila,
MS; father, Buck Tingle of Phila, MS; daughter, Amanda Pinter of
Phila, MS; son, Rodney (Misty) Tingle of Phila, MS; brother, Oren Lee
Tingle of Phila, MS; (2) grandchildren; (1) great-grandchild; several
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Mack Moore, Eddie Henson, Wayne Graham, Harley
Dennis, Bruce Moore and Glen Monk.

Mr. James V. “Sock” Robertson
Funeral services for Mr. James V. “Sock” Robertson was held at 2 pm
Sun., March 17, 2013 at North Bend Pentecostal Church with Rev.
Nathan Moore and Rev. Louie Davis officiating. Interment was in North
Bend Pentecostal Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services
is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. James V. “Sock” Robertson, 86, passed away on Friday, March 15,
2013 at his residence in the North Bend Community. He was a World War
II Army Veteran. He retired from U.S. Electrical Motors. He was a
member of North Bend Pentecostal Church

Mr. Robertson is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Lofton of Phila,
MS; son, Joe Wayne Robertson of Phila, MS; sisters, Odessa Whitehead
of Ridgeland, MS and Marvel Crawford of Phila, MS; brother, Charley
Robertson of Phila, MS; (8) grandchildren; (15) great-grandchildren;
host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Ivan Alford, Kip Barrier, Stevie Barrier, Jerry
Whitehead, Marty Crawford, Gary Thomas, Chris Gipson, Walt Robertson,
Twyla Lovern, Scarlett Moore, Larissa Conway and Skyla Withers.

Mrs. Lavurn
Cannon Alford
Funeral services for Mrs. Lavurn Cannon Alford were held at 2 pm
Tues., March 19, 2013 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. David
Upshaw, Rev. Lawrence Pool officiating and Rev. Dean Speed
officiating the graveside. Interment was in Sandtown Cemetery. John

Mrs. Alford, 92, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at her
residence in the Sandtown Community. She married James Earl Alford on
July 23, 1937 and they lived together for over 60 years until his
death. She was a nurse’s aide at Golden Acres Nursing Home.She was a
member of Sandtown United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Alford is survived by her daughters, Chelsea Kilgore of Jackson,
Clara Sullivan of Philadelphia, Thressa Martin of Pearl, Edna Earl
Simpson of Pearl and Patsy Jane Brown of Flora; sons, Robert Earl
Alford of Philadelphia, Charles L. Alford of Philadelphia and James
Ladell Alford of Philadelphia; sisters, Mary Frances Cannon Clepper
of Livingston, TX and Fay Cannon Mathews of Livingston, TX; brother,
Carl W. “Whimpy” Cannon of Whitesville, KY; (19)grandchildren; (40)
great-grandchildren; (10)great-great-grandchildren; host of nieces
and nephews.

Ms. Helen C. Phillips
Funeral Services for Helen C. Phillips were held at 2 PM Thursday,
March 14, 2013 from Choctaw Christian Church. Burial was in the
Dancing Rabbit Cemetery with Rev. Doby Henry officiating.
Visitation was at 4 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 746 Joe Wray Road.

Ms. Phillips, 65, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Anderson
Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS.
Survivors include daughter, Kathleen Phillips; sons, Robert Cotton,
Richard Cotton and Bobby Phillips; sister, Omaline Steve; 13
grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Julian McMillan, Wensley Wesley, Chris Denson, Clay
Wesley, Jr, Zecharian Wesley, Eddie Joe and Joseph Wesley.
