Funeral services for Sgt. Warren Anderson, 84, were held Saturday,
April 13, 2013 at Mills Springs M. B. Church, Weir. Burial followed
in Shady Grove Cemetery. Rev. Vince Coleman officiating
A native of French Camp, Sgt Anderson was a member of Mills Spring M.
B. Church, Weir and retired form the Military. He died at St
Dominic hospital in Jackson on April 9, 2013 and was born February 7,
1929.

Survivors are his wife Gladys Anderson of French Camp; two daughters
Rida Fergus and Joyce Mordica, four sisers, Earlean Calmese, Millie
Winfrey, Mackie B, Vaughn, Julia Lucas; three brothers Frank Jr.
Anderson, Hozell Anderson and Johnny Davis Anderson, two
grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Crockett Mosley
April 6, 2013
Funeral services for Ms. Ethel B. Crockett Mosley, 88, were held
Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Brush Fork M. B. Church, near Macon
Burial followed in Ruth Cemetery.

A native of Louisville, Ms. Crockett was a member of Brush Fork M.
B. Church, near Macon, and was a homemaker. She died at Winston
Medical Center on Saturday April 6, 2013 and was born August 24, 1924.

Survivors are six daughters Lelah Alexander, Evelyn Holton, Dorris
Eichelberger, Yvette Owens, Jeanette Parks, and Deborah Miller; four
sons, Arvin Mosley, Willie Mosley, Jimmy Mosley and Michael Mosley,
two brothers Bobby Crockett and Walter Crockett, twenty-eight
grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces
and nephews.

Ms. Versie Carter Dawkins
April 7, 2013
Funeral services for Ms. Versie Carter Dawkins, 97, were held
Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Beck Funeral Home of Louisville. Burial
followed in Memorial Garden Cemetery. Dr. Benjamin Pittman officiating.
A native of Louis
ville, Ms. Dawkins was a homemaker. She died at Winston Medical
Center on Sunday April 7, 2013 and was born July 15, 1915.

Survivors are, four grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy D. Cistrunk, 68, were held Saturday,
April 13, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant #1 Church, Louisville. Burial
followed in Oliver Cemetery. Minister Willie Daniels officiating.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Cistrunk was a laborer. He died at
County Medical Center, Gary IN. Sunday April 7, 2013 on Sunday April
7, 2013 and was born June 10, 1944.

Survivors are, two daughters Taryn Cistrunk of Louisville and
Kimberly Coats of Stone Mountain GA.; three sisters Mae Helen
Harrington of Louisville, Jearlean Haynes of Memphis TN and Shirley
D. Brooks of Cleveland OH, five brothers Noah D. Cistrunk of West
Point, Lee A Macon of Louisville , Robert C. Payton and Odie V.
Payton both of Cleveland OH and Oscar Payton of Orlando FL; four
grandchildren nieces nephews and other friends.

Stevenson
Mrs. Geneva Stevenson, 82, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013, at
Choctaw Residential in Choctaw, Mississippi. Visitation was Monday,
April 15, 2013, from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral
Home in Louisville, Mississippi, and on Tuesday one hour prior to
service at Hight Assembly of God Church in Noxapater, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at 2:00 p.m.
at Hight Assembly of God Church with Rev. Toby Halfacre and Rev.
Eddie Agnew officiating. Interment followed in Camp Ground United
Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Stevenson was born on August 17, 1930, to Plumer and Stella
Thomas Stanley. She was a member of Hight Assembly of God Church and
she was a homemaker.

Mrs. Stevenson is survived by five daughters: Anne Stanley of
Noxapater; Brenda Laird of Pelahatchie, Mississippi; Vickie Sullivan
of Florence, Mississippi; Nancy Berryhill of Richland, Mississippi;
and Beth Collins a of Noxapater. She is also survived by two
sisters, Flo Parker and Jane Stanley both of Louisville; and five
brothers, Bill Stanley; Clyde Stanley; Bobby Stanley; Jerry Stanley;
and Archie Stanley all of Louisville. Mrs. Stevenson has 11
grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren,
and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Milton Stevenson, Floyd Stevenson, Joseph
Stevenson, Sherlyn Stevenson, Ray Garrard, and Roger Garrard.

Mrs. Dana Sanders Marcangeli
Funeral services for Mrs. Dana Sanders Marcangeli were held at 2 pm
Monday, April 15, 2013 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Wade

Mrs. Marcangeli, 43, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at her
residence in the Linwood Community. She was a certified nursing
assistant and enjoyed working with the elderly. She was a member of
Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Marcangeli is survived by her husband, Woody Marcangeli of
Phila, MS; daughters, Ashton Sanders of Phila, MS & Avia Marcangeli
of Phila, MS; sons, Austin Sanders of Phila, MS, Trayton Marcangeli
of Phila, MS, Justin Marcangeli of Phila, MS & Jacob Marcangeli of

MS & Sonia Stenzal of Fanning, MS; brothers, Stacy Sanders of

Mr. J.C. Weathers
Memorial service for Mr. J.C. Weathers was held at 3 PM Sunday, April
14, 2013 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Chris Vowell

Mr. Weathers, 71, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at Anderson
Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS.

He was a U.S. Airforce veteran and a painter. He was a member of the
Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was baptist by faith.

Mr. Weathers is survived by his daughter, Julie Neese of Phila, MS;
sons, Gerald Weathers and his wife, Lesa of Phila, MS & Keith
Weathers of Phila, MS; (6) grandchildren and (5) great-grandchildren.

Mr. Milton Larry Stevens
Graveside service for Mr. Milton Larry Stevens were held at 11 AM
Friday, April 12, 2013 from Fellowship Cemetery. John E. Stephens
Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Stevens, 57, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Rush
Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was a truck driver. He was a
baptist.

Mr. Stevens is survived by his daughters, Lisa Stevens of Phila, MS &
Latosha Stevens of Phila, MS; sons, Milton Chuck Stevens of Meridian,
MS, Jason Stevens of Meridian, MS and James Stevens of Meridian,
MS;brother, Jerry Stevens of Phila, MS; (9) grandchildren; numerous
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are George Ward, Randy Ward, Jacob Whitling, Coy
Depriest, James Stevens and Joe Barnett.

Morgan
Funeral services for Eddie Joe Morgan, 78, were held 11 a.m. on April
12, 2013 at Salem Independent Methodist Church Cemetery near
Ackerman, MS.

Mr. Morgan was a retired district claims manager for Farm Bureau
Insurance. He also attended First Methodist Church in Starkville, MS.

Survivors include his wife, Joey (Bowie) Morgan of Starkville, MS; a
son, Jeffrey Morgan of Kansas City, Missouri; a daughter Belinda
Morgan Oliver of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He also had one grandson.

Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS was in charge of all the

Mrs. Laverne
Gregory

Mrs. Laverne Gregory, 95, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013,
in the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville,
Mississippi. Visitation was Sunday, April 14, 2013, from 5 p.m.
until 7 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral
services were held on Monday, April 15, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. at Harmony
Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Jones officiating. Interment followed
in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Gregory was born on September 23, 1917, to Milton and Leona
Barnhill Schoolar. For 63 years, she was a faithful member of
Harmony Baptist Church and she was a homemaker. She also loved
gardening and reading.

She is survived by her daughter, Serita Creekmore; her son, Gale
Gregory and wife, Frances; and her sister, Pearl Robertson all of
Louisville. Mrs. Gregory also has three grandchildren, Chris
Creekmore and wife, Bonnie, of Lauderdale, Mississippi, Alicia Burns,
and Kevin Gregory and wife, Nicole, all of Louisville. She has nine
great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Gregory;
her brother, Rudolph Holton; two sisters, Enid Kirk and Janie Holton;
two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Chris Creekmore, Jonathan Creekmore, Kevin Gregory,
Mark Dillard, Terry Gregory, and Larry Gregory.

Mrs. Whitehead was born on February 2, 1926, to Clifton V. and
Carrie White Richardson. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church
and she was a homemaker and a gifted seamstress.

Mrs. Whitehead is survived by her daughter, Gloria Flake and
husband, Jeff, of Louisville,
Mississippi; and by her grandson, Jamie Flake and wife, Kim, of
Noxapater, Mississippi. She is also survived by two great-
grandchildren, Braxton Thomas Flake and Jaycie Claire Flake.

Mrs. Whitehead was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence
Whitehead; her parents; two sisters, Jennie Miles and Inez Miles; and
by two brothers, Prince and Weldon Richardson.

Mrs. Willis was born on May 24, 1933, to Victor and Beryl Suttle
McNeel. She was a member of Noxapater Baptist Church and she was a
retired nurse.

Mrs. Willis is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Willis Rhaly and
husband, Barry, of Lauderdale, Mississippi; and by her sister, Doris
McNeel Hamilton and husband, Jimmie, of Louisville. She is also
survived by three grandchildren, Katherine Rhaly, Ashley, Rhaly, and
Andrew Rhaly.

Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Andrew
Willis; her parents; four
sisters, Helen McNeel Chappell, Gondine McNeel Kittrell, Mary NcNeel
Varner, and Gaynell Chappell; and by two brothers, Billy and Joe McNeel.

Danny White

Danny White, age 65, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, died April 12, 2013, at
DCH Hospital after a brief illness. Visitation was from 5 p.m. until
7 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, and on Monday from 12:30 until the time
of the service. Services were held on Monday, April 15, at 2 p.m.,
in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, MS, with Dr.
Gil McKee, pastor of First Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, and the Rev.
Jimmy Sartain of Nashville, TN officiating. Interment followed in
Ellison Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Danny was a graduate of Nanih Waiya High School and Delta State
University. He served as Minister of Music in several Mississippi
Baptist Churches for 16 years. The remainder of his career was spent
in insurance sales. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of
Tuscaloosa. He enjoyed traveling, working in his yard, spending time
with his family, and working on genealogy.

Danny is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pat Martin White; and two
daughters, Mary Melinda and Kelley Claire all of Tuscaloosa. He is
also survived by one brother, Billy M. White of Vicksburg, MS; three
sisters, Judy Bell (Alvin) of Louisville, MS, Annabelle Glass of
Louisville, MS, and Peggy White (Gayland) of Greenville, MS; and
three sisters-in-law, Carolyn White of Aurora, CO, Mary Martin Morrow
(Ralph) of Greenville, MS, and Bettye Martin Hill (Ron) of Cleveland,
MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him
dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Edward and Virgie
Flake White; four brothers, Carvel White, Hubert White, Truett White,
and Charles White; and his mother-in-law, Mary Eugenia Martin.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Zane Miller of Louisville; two
daughters, Susan Dale Lishman of Tupelo, Mississippi, and Teresa Y.
Facemire of Jackson, Mississippi; and by two sons, Johnny Miller and
wife, Nancy, of Needville, Texas, and Bobby Zane Miller, Jr. and
wife, Karen, of McCool, Mississippi. Mrs. Miller also has one
brother, Hilton McDaniel and wife, Joan; and her sister-in-law, Emma
Jean McDaniel, all of Jackson, Mississippi. She is also survived by
eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jimmy
Miller; her brothers, Ivel and S. T. McDaniel; and her sister,
Margaret Reynolds.

Collinsville, Mississippi. He is also survived by six sisters,
Helen Rutherford, Rachel Lee, and Voncille Thrasher, all of
Louisville, Dot Drewery of Noxapater, Mississippi, Shirley Bagwell of
Jackson, Mississippi, and Lucille Williams of Byram, Mississippi; and
his brother, Billy Lee of Decatur, Alabama. Mr. Lee has four
grandchildren, Brittney Luke and husband, Shawn, Toby Lee and wife,
Marcy, Madyson Lee, and Camryn Lee; and he has seven great-
grandchildren.
