Taylor Machine Works promotes Moody to Manager of Quality Control

Taylor Machine Works, Inc.., one of the Taylor Group of Companies,
has named Kale Moody as Manager of Quality Control. Moody will
oversee the daily operations of Quality Control Department and its
current staff.
Mike Boyles, Taylor Machine Works Director of Engineering, stated,
“Kale has made valuable contributions to Taylor Machine Works, both
as a Manufacturing Engineer and recently in Production Planning, and
is uniquely qualified to assume this challenge. This is another major
step in Taylor’s commitment to continuous improvement of our overall
product quality that will allow us to expand our programs by focusing
additional resources on these efforts.” Robert Taylor, Vice
President of Operations, added, “Taylor is proud to have Kale in this
leadership position, His experience, leadership, and enthusiastic
attitude will take our Quality group into the next generation.”
Moody received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial
Engineering from Mississippi State University in 2003. He attended
Northeast Mississippi Community College prior to transferring to
Mississippi State.
Moody began his tenure with Taylor Machine Works, Inc. shortly after
graduating from college. While in college, Moody completed his
engineering co-op education at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company in
Tupelo, Mississippi where he conducted time studies, updated employee
standards and procedures, participated as a Kaizen Team member, and
performed cost analysis.
zMoody and his wife, Samantha, have two children, Will, and Molly.
They reside in Starkville, Mississippi where Moody is an active
member Starkville Church of Christ.
