Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn Mae Thomas Carver, 78, were held at
French Camp Presbyterian Church in French Camp on Wednesday, May 1,
2013 at 11 a.m. Rev. Alex Coblentz and Rev. Gary Jackson officiated.
Burial at French Camp Cemetery.
Mrs. Carver was a secretary. Mrs. Carver was a member of the Wesleyan
Church. Mrs. Carver died on Wednesday, April 27, 2013 at Choctaw
County Nursing Home in Ackerman.
Survivors include husband, Mervyn Carver of Ackerman; daughters,
Sherilyn Harms of Satellite Beach, FL, Susan Hogg of Brandon;
brothers, Daniel Thomas of Indianapolis, IN, Ernest Thomas of Katy
TX; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
Family suggests memorials to French Camp Academy.

Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Burnside Easley, 64, were held at Mt.
Vernon M.B. Church in Noxapater on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11
a.m. Rev. David Harris officiated.
A native of Noxapater, Mrs. Easley was a homemaker. Mrs. Easley was
a member of Mt. Vernon M.B. Church. Mrs. Easley died on Sunday, April
21, 2013 at her residence in Noxapater.
Survivors include mother, Annie Pearl McDonald; son, Dwight Gregory;
sisters, Patsy Carter, Mattie Harry; brothers, George Burnside,
Nathaniel Burnside, Daniel Burnside, Amos Burnside, Darrell Burnside;
12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.

French Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at
2 p.m. Rev. Tim Black officiated. Burial at Mt. Zion Presbyterian
Church Cemetery near McCool.
A native of Winston County, Mrs. Hutchinson was a homemaker. Mrs.
Hutchinson was a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church. Mrs.
Hutchinson died on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Pioneer Community
Hospital of Choctaw in Ackerman.
Survivors include husband, Travis Hutchinson of McCool; brothers,
Neal White, Travis White, both of Louisville; sisters, Carolyn Allen
of Kosciusko, Laura Blackstock of Jackson, TN, Marvel Thompson of Byram.

Funeral services for Mr. Ex Earl Nash, Sr., 64, were held at Mt. Enon
M.B. Church on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. Rev. Jimmy Sanders

A native of Union, Mr. Nash was a propane distributor and serviceman
for Dowdle Gas Co. Mr. Nash was a member of Mt. Enon M.B. Church. Mr.
Nash died on Monday, April 29, 2013 at University Medical Center in
Jackson.
Survivors include wife, Mary Nash of Union; daughter, Leslie Nash;
son, Ex Earl Nash, Jr.; sisters, Bonnie Bingham of Memphis, TN,
Lessie Nash of Chicago, IL, Cindy Nash and Shirley Day of Union; 4
grandchildren.

A native of Choctaw County, Mrs. Suber was a factory worker. Mrs.
Suber was a member of Crape Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Suber died on
Wednesday, April 27, 2013 at Vickers Personal Care Home in Mathiston.
Survivors include sons, Robin Steven Suber of Ackerman, James Wayne
Suber of Water Valley; daughters, Lillian Denise Bailey of Columbus;
brothers, Barney Paul Henning of Winona, Cecil Lewis Henning of
Mantee, Edward Monroe Henning of Winona, James Richard Henning of
French Camp, Thomas Lester Henning of Winona; sisters, Patsy Carson

Mrs. Irons, 89, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Baptist Leake
Memorial Extended Care. She lived in Edinburg, MS most of her life.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs.
Mrs. Irons is survived by her daughter, Hilda Wilkins of Twin City,
MS; sons, James W. Irons Sr. of Carthage, MS and Bennie Ray Irons of
Hitchcock, TX; (6) grandchildren; (4) great-grandchildren; several
nieces and nephews.

Ms. Minnie Warren Nelson
Funeral services for Ms. Minnie Warren Nelson were held at 2 PM
Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John
Stephens and Rev. Kevin Meadows officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove
Cemetery in House, MS.
Ms. Nelson, 82, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Anderson
Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She was a retired waitress.
She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
Ms Nelson is survived by her sons, Richard Mott Sr. of Union, MS and
Rev. Morris Mott of Plainfield, IN; (5) grandchildren; (6) great-
grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Barrett, Odie Killen, Dewayne Adcock, Ricky
Mott, Richard Mott and Rev. Morris Mott.
