Red, White and Blue Kids Parade and fireworks display set for July 2

The Annual Red White and Blue Parade will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 6 PM on Main Street Louisville.

All Children 12 years old or younger should plan to decorate their bikes, trikes, wagons or other children vehicles (no motorized rides) with patriotic colors and symbols. All the children, parents and grandparents are invited to the parking lot behind the Court House and where the parade will line up on Court Street.

“Come teach your children about our veterans and the freedoms we enjoy because of the sacrifices that has been made by these brave men and women. Bring a Veteran to be in the parade with you,” said Chamber director Linda Skelton.

The Annual Fireworks Display will also be held on July 2, after the Red White and Blue Parade at 9 pm at Lake Tiak-O’Khata. They will have a hamburger, hotdog and chicken strip buffet at Lake Tiak-O’Khata .

Live entertainment will be provided at the pavilion on the water beside the restaurant.
