Summer Reading program a success

Monday June 3’s Summer LibraryTeen Program.  It was an Arts and Crafts program where each teen created a framed picture of their monogram and decorated the picture and frame to their liking.  Everyone had a great time!   (l-r)  Savanna Cole, Molli Childs, Lexi Sullivan, Taylor Fairley, Caitlyn Hooks and Adrienne Forsythe.  The Teen programs are held in Monday in June. Kids waiting to go in to the “Shake Out Your Sillies!” Summer Library Program at the Winston County Library.  This program was presented by Kelsey Barnett of the Mississippi Children’s Museum in Jackson, MS.  Children entering first through sixth grades can still register for the Summer Library Program.

Summer Weekly Storytime program that Mrs. Julie Chase holds each Tuesday at 10:00 in June and for two Tuesdays in July (7/2  and7/16 ).   Storytime is centered around children three to five years old, and this week’s theme was Pirates!   These participants enjoyed making pirate ships, pirate hats, and a puppet show.   Anyone can bring their child or children, ages three to five,  to Storytime this summer at the Winston County Library.
