Lions Club prepares for annual golf tournament July 20

The Louisville Lion’s Club Annual Two Man/Woman Scramble will be held on Saturday, July 20 at the Louisville Country Club.

Registration for the tournament will begin at 8:15 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Fees are $45 per person, and $90 per team. Businesses and organizations can also sponsor an individual hole for $120.

The first nine holes start at 9:15 a.m. and 18 holes will be played in the afternoon starting at 1 p.m.

There are a total of 27 holes for play. The Lions will be providing lunch at the clubhouse for all participants and there will be a drawing of door prizes including donations from local businesses.

There will be 4 flights with trophies awarded for 1st and 2nd place and a $100 prize for closest to the hole on number 7.

Participants also have a chance for a new car from Crowson Auto World if they can hit a hole-in-one.

Proceeds from the tournament will be used for the Lion programs that assist the blind, to provide eyeglasses to those in need and other community projects in our area.
