WLCTC holds annual awards banquet

The Winston-Louisville Career & Technology Center held their annual Awards Banquet on Monday, April 29 at Lake Tiak O’ Khata.

The yearly event is held to recognize the efforts of students of the center under the tutelage of their staff. The event started with a welcome from Career & Technology Director James Robert Webb. After the welcome, Webb introduced Destiny Jordan for the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance.

Immediately following the pledge, Ben Johns sang the National Anthem for the delight of the crowd. Dinner was served to the attending guests after the blessing of the food.

After the dinner, Webb announced they would begin with the presentation of the awards. Each instructor introduced the awards for their respective students and classes.

Once the scholarships were presented, the night’s ceremonies concluded.
