Fulton prepares for 104th birthday

Walton Fulton will be celebrating his 104th birthday on Sunday, July 28 from 2-4 pm at Rocky Hill United Methodist Church. He was born on July 25, 1909, to Charles Dillard and Ida Price Fulton and has lived his entire live in Winston County. Engaging him in conversation is like walking through a history book of Winston County.

Walton attended school at Rocky Hill School, Noxapater Agricultural High School and Mississippi State University. He has been a Bulldog fan all his life and recently visited with Coach Dan Mullen, along with his daughter Barbara Gay, and great nephews Patrick Fulton and Julius Moody. His daughter and grandchildren Hugh Gay and Mary Margaret Crowson and their families recently honored him with a brick commemorating the expansion of Davis-Wade stadium at MSU in honor of Walton and his late wife Marguerite Fulton.

Friends and family are invited to join him in celebrating his 104th birthday on Sunday, July 28 at Rocky Hill UMC from 2-4 pm.
