Austin Harrison of Louisville completes summer internship with Cochran

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Austin Harrison of Louisville has completed a nine-week summer internship in the Capitol Hill office of U.S. Senator Thad Cochran (R-Miss.).

Harrison, a graduate of Winston Academy, recently earned a public policy degree from the University of Mississippi and is now a first-year law student at The University of Arkansas, Little Rock. He is the son of Phil and Stacy Harrison of Louisville.

During his internship, Harrison worked with Cochran’s legislative staff, in addition to assisting with constituent services. The Cochran internship program is designed to give young Mississippians a first-hand opportunity to experience the legislative process and the operation of a U.S. Senate office.

Harrison of Louisville worked nine weeks in Washington, D.C.
