Raffle and concert to benefit Louisville firefighters’ association

Louisville Fire Association to host big events August 24 to raise funds for helping the fire department and community.

The Louisville Firefighters’ Association is a nonprofit group separate from Louisville fire department, but they work to fund the purchase of firefighting and lifesaving equipment along with other needs for the department and community.

In a fundraising raffle August 24, the group is selling chances on a custom bike built by Rocky Hill Customs. The bike has a 126 cu inch motor rated at 155 horsepower.

The tickets for a chance to win the bike are $100 with only 300 tickets to be sold.

The purchase of the ticket in addition for a chance to the bike also purchases tickets a Grayson Capps concert on August 24 and to the motorcycle run that day. The concert will be held prior to the raffle drawing at the Pine Ridge Lodge at Lake Tiak-O’Khata, Tickets for the concert only are $15.

The motorcycle ride will be held art 6 p.m. and is also open to the public for $20 per bike or $25 with passenger.

Raffle tickets and other event tickets may be purchased from members of the Louisville firefighters’ association, local businesses or Jason Stewart at 662-803-2817.

The custom bike for the raffle may be examined at Bullock Toyota Taps showroom where tickets may also be purchased.
