Abby Hathorn has been selected to represent The Outlet Shops of Grand River as the Grand Haul Girl over the next four months. Abby is thrilled to be on board as a spokesperson for the mall, and she is looking forward to discovering and sharing numerous fabulous, fashionable deals from The Outlet Shops of Grand River.

Abby will receive one $150 gift card per month from The Outlet Shops of Grand River to be spent during that month. Using the gift card, she will shop for incredible deals and then share those finds in a Grand Haul video.

A selection committee, comprised of representatives from The Outlet Shops of Grand River, Real People Models and Talent and B-Metro magazine, reviewed the videos to narrow the field down to 3-4 finalists in each category. The finalist videos were posted on The Outlet Shops of Grand River’s Facebook page for the public vote on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 5 p.m. Voting ended on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 5 p.m. Winning the Facebook vote was but one element in the final selection process.

It was a long, yet exciting adventure for Abby. When Real Media caught up with her to ask her how she was feeling about everything, she stated, “I am so ecstatic about this opportunity because I know that it will be a fun and awesome adventure. Words cannot express how overwhelmed and humbled I am by the show of support from my fans, friends, and family. The Vintage Inspired Passionista blog has the best fans ever!”

In a recent interview with Chris Hannon from Real Media, Abby was asked how many outfits she could create from the items that she purchased. “I can create thirteen looks with the six fashion pieces and four accessories that I purchased using my Grand Haul Girl gift card. Stay tuned to my blog and YouTube channel for the “Lucky 13” reveal,” stated Abby Hathorn.

With more Grand Haul videos to make, Abby is excited about the experience she will gain from the challenges. Her advice for people wanting to do their own clothing haul is to look for items that can be interchanged to create a variety of looks and to look for fabulous accessories. “One thing I tell my readers and followers is accessories make all the difference! It is amazing how tossing on a colorful scarf or even a statement necklace transforms the look of a basic outfit,” says Abby Hathorn.
