Funeral Service for Mrs. Billie Jean Young, 73, was held at Mt. Calvary M. B. Church, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2 pm. Officiating was Dr. Michael Taylor, Jr. She was buried in the church cemetery

Mrs. Young was a native of Louisville, a homemaker and a member of Mt. Calvary M.B. Church. She was born November 9, 1939 and died at her daughter’s home in Evanston Il. Wednesday September 4, 2013.

Survivors are two daughters Martha Andrews and Rebecca Lavant both of Evanston, IL; two sons, Earl Turner and Kelly Young both of Evanston IL., ten grandchildren, fourteen-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Susie M. Johnson, 89, was held at Mt. Moriah M. B. Church, Friday, September 13, 2013 at 2:00 Pm. Officiating was Rev. Willie Morgan, Jr.

She was cremated.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Louisville, a homemaker and a member of Mt. Moriah M.B. Church. She was born October 14, 1923 and died at Wellstar Kenneston Hospital in Mariette, Ga Friday September 6, 2013.

Survivors are grandchildren, great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Yolanda Marie May Wilson

Funeral service for Mrs. Yolanda Marie May Wilson, 44, was held at Mount. Bell M. B. Church, Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 2 pm. Officiating was Dr. Anthony McIntosh. Burial followed in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson was a native of Louisville, a homemaker and a member of Mount Bell Missionary Baptist Church. She was born August 29, 1969 and died at her home in Louisville Saturday September 7, 2013.

Survivors are mother, Reatia Taylor of Louisville; two daughters, Quenshara Ivy and Charlessia McClendon both of Louisville, step-son Jamar Ricks of Philadelphia, MS, one sister Henrietta Tankley of Louisville, one brother Montoi Moore of Louisville, three grandchildren, nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Frankie L. Miller, Jr.

Funeral Service for Mr. Frankie L. Miller, Jr., 52, was held at Union Chapel M. B. Church, Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at noon. Officiating was Rev. Billy Clay,

Mr. Miller was a born in Flint MI , on June 21, 1966 and worked his later employment at Taylor’s Machine Works. He served in the U. S. Army for 1991 until 1995. He died at his home in Louisville Friday September 6, 2013.

Survivors are one son LaSadrick D. Houston, three sister Wanda Jones, Loretta Anderson, four brothers Ronald Miller, Anthony Miller, Ricky Miller and Franklin Anderson, seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Ms. Helen L. Sharp

Funeral services for Ms. Helen L. Sharp Morgan were held at 2 PM Tues., Sept. 17, 2013 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Larry Savell officiating. Interment was in Coldwater Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Morgan, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Choctaw Residential Center. She was a retired waitress. Ms. Morgan was a baptist.

Ms. Morgan is survived by her sons, Larry Morgan of Kosciusko, MS and Steve Morgan of Phila, MS; brother, Claude Ed Sharp of Phila, MS; (3) grandchildren; (4) great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

Mr. James Leon Price

Funeral services for Mr. James Leon Price were held at 10 AM Wed., Sept. 11, 2013 from John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Ray Luke officiating.

Interment was in North Bend Methodist Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Price, 86, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Neshoba General Hospital. He lived in the Burnside Community most of his life. He served and retired from the U.S. Army. Mr. Price also served 11 years on the Philadelphia Police Department. He was a member of North Bend Methodist Church.

Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Rosie Price of Phila, MS; son, James L. (Sonny) Price Jr. of Columbus, MS; sisters, Sue Shepherd of Noxapater, MS and Elaine McAdory of Phila, MS; brothers, Johnny Price of Noxapater, MS, Robert Price of Phila, MS and Glen Price of Phila, MS; (2) grandchildren; (5) great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Joey Jackson, Patrick Jackson, Scott Jackson, Caleb Sanderson, Jimmy Lovern, Wayne Price and Kenny Price.

Mrs. Lucille D. Tullos

Mrs. Lucille D. Tullos, 72, died Saturday, September 14, 2013, at her home in Choctaw County. Funeral services were held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, Sept. 16, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Fred Frazier and Mr. Hank Dempsey officiating. Interment was in Owens Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Dempsey was born May 18, 1941, in Hickory, MS. She was a retired employee of TRW Co.

She is survived by her husband, William Tullos of McCool, MS; a son, Jimmy Roland of McCool; three daughters, Brenda Bowman of Oxford, MS, Tondra Williams of Concord, NC, and Candy Tullos of Gulfshores, AL; two sisters, Benita Furr of McCool, and Clytee Romedy of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Quavis Romedy of Columbus, MS, and Forrest Romedy of Nashville, TN; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Cody Roland, Chance Wade, Luke Skelton, Clint Howard, Michael Howard, and Yohan Hernandez.
