The 17th Annual Carl Jackson “Home for Christmas” benefit concert is set for Saturday, December 14.
The event will consist of two shows with one at 4p.m. and the other following at 7 p.m. in downtown Louisville at the historic Strand Theater.
Tickets will go on sale October 1 and organizers encourage everyone interested to buy their tickets as soon as possible since the shows sell out fast.
In addition to Carl Jackson and mainstay friends such as Jerry Salley, Larry Cordle, Valerie Storey, Bradley Walker, Johnny Rawls, and comedian Lonnie Shorr, the show will also present upcoming stars The Church Sisters (Savannah and Sarah Church).
“I’ve had the pleasure of working with so many great singers in my career. I can honestly say Savannah and Sarah, The Church Sisters, are as good as it gets,” said Carl Jackson.
To get tickets for this annual benefit at the Strand Theater, call the Chamber at 662-773-3921 or go by and see Martha Mills or Linda Skelton
The proceeds from the concert will help the continued renovation of his hometown theater (The Strand Theater) which now serves as the Community Arts Center.
