Ms. Frances Gammill Bradberry

Funeral services for Frances Gammill Bradberry, 84, were held on September 20, 2013 at Antioch Methodist Church near Ackerman, MS. Burial was held in the Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery near Ackerman, MS.

Ms. Bradberry a native of Choctaw County, MS was a member of Antioch Methodist Methodist Church. She was also a bookkeeper. Ms. Bradberry was born on March 24, 1929 and passed away on September 16, 2013 at North MS Medical Center Long Term Care in Eupora, MS.

Survivors include daughter, Brenda C. Lambert of Ackerman, MS; brother Jim F. Gammill, Madison, MS and sister Mary Joe Bennett of Jackson, MS.

Mrs. Ollie Mae Jernigan Foster

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ollie Mae Jernigan Foster, 83, were held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt Moriah M.B. Church. Rev. Benjamin Pittman officiating. Burial followed in the Eiland Cemetery.

Mrs. Foster was a native of Winston County, a member of Mt Moriah Church and a retired homemaker. She was born in Winston County December 2, 1929 and died Tuesday September 17, 2013 at Rush Hospital in Meridian MS.

Survivors are five daughters, Linda Buggs Elisabeth Thompson, Tommie Williamson and Sarah Welch al of Louisville and Doris Laine of Los Angles, CA; one son Jerry Jernigan of Rock Island IL. ; three sister in laws, and a host of nieces and Nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Ruby Dean Dodd LaGrone

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruby Dean Dodd LaGrone, 60, were held Sunday, September 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at William & Hampton Chapel. Bishop Chris Chamberlin officiating. Burial followed in the Friendship Cemetery at Gholson

Mrs. LaGrone was a native of Louisville, a member of Oak Grove M. B. Church and a retired homemaker. She was born in Louisville January 7, 1953 and died Wednesday September 18, 2013 at Winston Medical Center.

Survivors are two daughters, Betty Rogers of Clarksville, TN and Brenda McDonald of Noxapater; five sons Anthony Dodd of Spokane WA., Kelvin LaGrone of Kosciusko, MS, Alvin LaGrone of Cartersville, GA., Elvin LaGrone of Hassfurt, Germany and Gabriel LaGrone of Louisville; two sisters Patricia Dodd of Louisville and Larethia Lewis of McCool, one brother George Dodd of Ethel sixteen grandchildren , and a host of nieces and Nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. Helen L. Sharp Morgan

Graveside services for Ms. Helen L. Sharp Morgan were held at 11 AM Thurs., Sept. 19, 2013 from Coldwater Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Morgan, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Choctaw Residential Center. She was a retired waitress. Morgan was a baptist.

Ms. Morgan is survived by her sons, Larry Morgan of Kosciusko, MS and Steve Morgan of Phila, MS; brother, Claude Ed Sharp of Phila, MS; (3) grandchildren; (4) great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

 

Mr. Harold R. “Pete” Williamson

Funeral services for Mr. Harold R. “Pete” Williamson were held at 11 AM Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Fred Britton officiating.  Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery.  John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Williamson, 80, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of First United Methodist Church.  Mr. Williamson lived most of his life in Arkansas before moving to Philadelphia in 2005.

Mr. Williamson is survived by his wife, Jan Yates Williamson of Philadelphia, MS; daughter, Stacey Little of Rudy, AR; son, Rodney Williamson of Bryant, AR; sister, Nela Jean Hendricks of Barling, AR; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Barrett Little, Payton Little, Doug Little, Bill Yates, Lyn Yates and Keith Yates.
