Annual Bazaar at Whitehall Oct. 26

The Whitehall UMC annual bazaar will be held Saturday October 26, 2013. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. There will be a delicious buffet, crafts, homemade goodies, a white elephant sale, silent auction and lots of fun & fellowship. A 90 Birthday Celebration honoring Archie Ree Sullivan on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church on HWY 397, Louisville.

Book signing Oct. 28

Warren Trest on Monday, October 28 will be at the Winston County Library to sing his newest book.

Trest will be on hand from 3 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Mr. Trest is a Winston County native.

4-H Stew Fundraiser set for Nov. 1

Annual Bazaar Nov. 2

First Methodist Church will hold their annual bazaar on Saturday, November 2. Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The Bazaar will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be something for everyone! Lots of homemade goodies, Christmas shops, crafts, white elephant, kids corner, silent auction, and much more. Lots of fun and fellowship.

Mount Cannie MIssionary Baptist Church of Louisville, Ms  will be celebrating their pastor George W. Love 31st anniversary on November 3, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Reverend James L. Morris Sr.pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church of Louisville, Ms will be the guest speaker. The public is invited to attend and dinner will be served.

Walking in Wellness each Saturday

A Walking and Wellness group will be walking Saturdays from 9:00am to 10 am at Ivy Park in Louisville. Walk, Exercise and Tennis Every Saturday morning. All are invited to come enjoy the exercise and fun.

La Leche League of Louisville

La Leche League of Louisville meets monthly on the 4th Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at the County Extension Building. La Leche League offers mother-to-mother support, leaders accredited by La Leche League International, latest breastfeeding information, 24-hour telephone help, and lending library. Oct. 19 Canoe Day

The Friends of Noxubee Refuge will hold a canoe day on Bluff Lake Saturday October 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Canoes, kayaks, paddles, and life jackets will be available free of charge. Call 323-5548 for more information or in case of inclement weather.

Cancer Awareness October 26

Mt. Moriah Baptist Church has planned a Cancer Walk around Saturday Morning October 26 starting at 8:30 a.m. We will walk around the church building in recognition of those who are victimized by cancer and other health care diseased. Nurses will be available to do blood pressure screening.

They welcome all churches and community residence to come and walk. Refreshments/ water will be available.

The youth and children of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church will offer a plate lunch Sunday October 27th from 11:00 – 2:00 p.m. in our fellowship hall.
