WMC employees give

From press reports

Winston Medical Center (WMC) is committed to giving back to the community we serve. The WMC family adopted local children through the Junior Auxiliary Angel Tree to provide Christmas gifts. These children are part of families that may have faced hardship this year and are not able to create a memorable holiday for their children.

This year, staff from Winston Medical Center purchased dolls, clothes, balls, games, drawing materials, books and much more for children.  Our employees’ generous gifts will help make some of the families in Winston County holiday wishes come true.

WMC to host ‘Lights of Love’

Winston Medical Center Nursing Home will host its annual “Lights of Love” tree lit on the front porch of the center.

The “Lights of Love” is sponsored by the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home Auxiliary.  A donation of $3 will place a light on the tree in memory or honor of someone special in life.

A card will be sent to the person you are honoring or remembering to let the individual or family know that you have purchased a light in honor or memory of their loved one.

Lights may be purchased at the nursing home or you can visit our website site at www.winstonmedical.org.  Simply click under New/Events and you will see the Lights of Love link.  Click the link and you will find a form to mail in.  Mail your form and payment to the address provided.

All donations are tax deductible and all proceeds are used to support auxiliary projects in the nursing home.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  For more information, call 662-779-5118.
