Noxapater Clinic opens, begins accepting patients

While some of the outside landscaping and appearance details are still underway, the Noxapater Health Clinic is now accepting patients.

The facility offers a full staff including Nancy Jordan as a Family Nurse Practitioner along with a compliment of staff members to round out the needs of the patients.

The facility will allow the Winston Medical Center to serve the residents of Noxapater closer to their homes according to WMC staff.

The clinic is located behind the old Noxapater city hall across from Citizens Bank in Noxapater at 90 West Main Street. The clinic is a 3200 square feet building with exam rooms, waiting room and reception area.

Jordan and the center staff are accepting new patients and patients who want to stay closer to their homes in Noxapater. The Medical Center notes that walk-ins are welcome,

Jordan has been practicing as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2007. She has worked in the emergency department since 2008. She has a broad background in her practice with experience in cardiac-telemetry, cardiac step down, intensive care units and medical-surgical units.

Jordan is the daughter of Lemoyne and Florence Young of Noxapater. She is married to Sedrick Jordan and has three children Brandon 17, Quinton 11, and Natalie 8. She is a member of Mt. Vernon Church of Noxapater and serves as the Director of Youth, Sunday school teacher and sings in the church choir.

Lights of Love

Winston Medical Center Nursing Home has the “Lights of Love” tree lit on the front porch sponsored by the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home Auxiliary.

A donation of $3 will place a light on the tree in memory or in honor of someone you love or admire. A card will be sent to the person you are honoring or remembering to let him or her know that you have purchased a light in their honor, or to the family of someone deceased in whose memory a light was purchased.

Lights may be purchased at the nursing home or you can click the link below and mail your form and payment to the address provided.

All donations are tax deductible and all proceeds are used to support auxiliary projects in the nursing home.
