Assists at State Capitol

DaLamon Harris of Louisville, Kennedy Jones of Jackson, and Ta’Boris Smith of Louisville recently served as pages for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff. DaLamon, Kennedy, and Ta’Boris are pictured with Lt. Governor Tate Reeves and with Senator Sampson Jackson II, who sponsored their visit. DaLamon is the son of Cornelius and Wendy Harris and attends Louisville High School. Kennedy is the daughter of Senator Kenneth Wayne and Bobby Jones and attends Jim Hill High School. Ta’Boris is the son of Donny and Wanda Smith and attends Louisville High School. When asked about the week, they said, “We were interested by some of the work that the senators took part in, and we enjoyed working at the Mississippi State Legislature a great deal.”
