Tour of the Central Office of Louisville Public Schools
The tour of the central office of Louisville Public Schools will begin at the Central Office 10:45 a.m. on March 6. Refreshments will be served. The regular meeting will be held at Louisville City Hall at 1 p.m. The speaker will be Tom Bush, President of Winston County Crime Stoppers.
Prevent Bullying workshop to be held
March is “Prevent Bullying” month at the Family Center. The workshops will inform parents about recognizing the signs and preventing bullying in our schools and communities. The counselors of the Louisville Municipal School District will provide valuable information to help combat bullying. Pre-K through 6th grade parents’ workshop will be held at 5:15 p.m., March 6 at the Family Center. The 7th through 12th grade parents’ workshop will be held at 5:15 p.m., March 20 at the Family Center.

HealthHelp MS to answer questions
Latisha Butler with HealthHelp Mississippi (Starkville, MS) will return to the Winston County Library on Monday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mrs. Butler will answer questions about the Affordable Care Act and go through the website with anyone who needs help filing for a health insurance application, or if anyone just wants to see if they are eligible for insurance under the ACA, and how much it would be. This will be the only date in March that she will be able to come to the library, before the March 31 deadline for filing for insurance.
