Airport board meeting First Monday

The Louisville-Winston County Airport Authority board announces that it will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on the first Monday of each month. Said meetings will begin at 5:30 pm and will be conducted at the City of Louisville board room.

Louisville Church of Christ offering assistance

Hamm Reunion to be held

West Kemper Class of 1973 to host conference

Walking in Wellness begins every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Ivy Park which is located at 201 Ivy Avenue Louisville.

Louisville/Winston County Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of the community house.

Paparazzi meet fourth Thursday of each month

The Winston County Paparazzi are meeting on fourth Thursday of each month. The Winston County Paparazzi is working with the MSU Extension Office in Louisville to offer monthly meetings for photography enthusiasts. La Leche League of Louisville

La Leche League of Louisville meets monthly on the 4th Saturday of each month from 1-2 p.m. at the County Extension Building. La Leche League offers mother-to-mother support, leaders accredited by La Leche League International, latest breastfeeding information, 24-hour telephone help, and lending library. Indian Springs Assembly of God will have Homecoming and Memorial

Indian Springs Assembly of God will have Homecoming and Memorial Service on Sunday June 8. The service will begin at 10 a.m. with dinner on the grounds at noon. The morning speaker will be Rev. Jesse Ray of Starkville, MS.  Southern Heritage of Philadelphia, MS will be the featured singers during the service.

Keith Crenshaw Memorial Ride

The second Cpl. Keith Crenshaw Memorial Ride will be June 7 starting at the old Garan parking lot in Eupora.
Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the fee is $20; kickstands up at 10 a.m. and refreshments after the ride. “Please join us in support of our fallen hero,” organizers stated. All proceeds go to the Keith Crenshaw Memorial Fund.

Juneteenth Day Festival cancelled

Due to the tornado damage to Dean Park, the Juneteenth Day Festival has been cancelled.  The drawing for the tickets sale will be held in front the Winston County Courthouse, Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.  You do not have to be present to win.
