The Winston County Paparazzi are meeting on fourth Thursday of each month. The Winston County Paparazzi is working with the MSU Extension Office in Louisville to offer monthly meetings for photography enthusiasts. Christian Harmony Shape- Note Singing School and Convention

An old fashioned Christian Harmony shape-note singing convention with dinner on the grounds will be held in Newton County Mississippi on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, from 10 AM to 3 PM at Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church 8 miles North of Newton in Decatur. Singing is acapella from oblong hymnals like the ones your grandparents may have used. The public is welcome to join in the congregational singing or just listen to beautiful songs going back to colonial times. Two days before the convention, traditional singers will conduct a singing school in the evening from 6 to 9 PM on Thurs, June 19 and Fri, June 20. The singing school will be held at Decatur United Methodist Church, directly across from East Central Community College in Decatur. Shape-note singings are non-convention. Airport board meeting First Monday

The Louisville-Winston County Airport Authority board announces that it will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on the first Monday of each month. Meetings will begin at 5:30 pm at the City of Louisville board room.

Church of Christ offers assistance

The Louisville church of Christ continues to help tornado victims with different hours.  They are now open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1-6 P.M.  They have clothing and many needed items.  As people are able to re-locate, they may be able to assist.  Call 773-8178 for more information.
