AARP Meeting
Sept. 10
Winston County area AARP Chapter #2859 will hold their Sept. 10 meeting at the Extension Office at 10 a.m. Members are asked to bring a covered dish and enjoy the meeting.
Revival Aug. 17
Revival Services beginning on Sunday, August 17 through Thursday, August 21. Service will begin at 6 p.m. on Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  We have 5 dynamic men of God to render the Revival, one each night. These include Rev. Robert Brown, Rev. Antre Geter, Rev. Carl Swanigan, Rev. Michael Gibson, and Rev. Kevin Carter. We look forward to having you worship with us during the revival.
Doty Springs Baptist to host revival
Revival will be held at Doty Springs Baptist Church at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday, August 17. Services will continue at 7 p.m., August 18 through August 20.  Church is located on Attala Road 5205 off highway 14 between Kosciusko and Louisville.
Goodin reunion to be held

Home School Kick off Aug. 21
A Home-School Kick Off will be held at Wess Chapel Baptist Church on August 21, 2014 at 1 p.m..  The event will be hosted by C.H.E.A.L. (Christian Home Educators Association of Louisville).  There will be activities for the kids as well as a “Build Your Own Sundae” buffet.  Door prizes will be given and there will also be a “Cirriculum Swap” so please bring any materials you want to swap, sell, or give away.  All home-schoolers are invited, members and non-members alike, even those outside of the Louisville area.  So, if you are looking to be a part of a great home-school group, come join in the fun as we get ready for a big home-schooling year in 2014-2015.  For more information contact Sherrie Murphy at (601) 656-9165.

The Winston County Paparazzi are meeting on fourth Thursday of each month. The Winston County Paparazzi is working with the MSU Extension Office in Louisville to offer monthly meetings for photography enthusiasts. Church of Christ help
The Louisville church of Christ tornado relief effort will now be open ONLY on Tuesdays 9:00 – 5:00 to assist people with supplies. The church of Christ is located at 59 Bond Road.  They have clothing, food, baby supplies, and many more needed items. For more information call 773-8178 or 773-5631.

Airport board meeting First Monday
The Louisville-Winston County Airport Authority board announces that it will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on the first Monday of each month. Meetings will begin at 5:30 pm at the City of Louisville board room.

The Louisville Board of Aldermen regular monthly meetings are the first and third Tuesday in each month. The meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. and are held in the city hall boardroom.

The Winston County Board of Supervisors monthly meetings are the first and third Monday in each month. The meetings begin at 9 a.m. and are held in the County Courthouse boardroom.
