Rev. Anthony Thames and church family of Oak Grove #2 M.B. Church will be having their Annual Summer Revival during August 20-22, 2017. Guest speakers are as follow: Sunday night at 6:00 pm, Rev. Lavoid Kelly, Pastor of True Believers M. B. Church of Philadelphia, MS; Monday night at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Danya Turner, Pastor of Mt. Sinai M.B. Church of Louisville; Tuesday night at 7:00 pm, Rev. James Headd, Pastor of Antioch M.B. Church of Louisville. The public is invited to attend to join in worship each night.

Scholarship Fundraiser Car Wash

The members of Estes Lodge No. 63A will be washing cars on Saturday, August 12th at Estes Lodge Hall located at 125 Hill St, Louisville. Requesting a donation of $10.00 per car, funds will go towards The Chambliss Nunn Scholarship Fund. The car wash will begin at 8:00 am, lasting until 12:00 pm. Toy Drive Fundraiser

The Buffalo Soldier Motorcycle Club Toy Drive Fundraiser is underway! We invite you to please come out and purchase a lunch to help support our Christmas Toy Dive on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 10:30 – 1:30. We will also have raffle tickets for a gas grill, to be given away on Sept. 16 at our annual event! First Unity U.M Church Singing Program

First Unity U.M. Church will be sponsoring a Gospel Explosion Singing Program by Mattie Robinson and the Total Praise team.  The performance will be held on Sunday, July 30th, 2017 at 5pm. Quick Bites Programs are offered through the Mississippi State University Extension Service and provide information in a wide variety of topics through interactive video. The programs are held during lunch, (12-1) on Thursdays. Sessions will be held in Bost 409 for those who are on campus. Contact your county office to participate via interactive video.

August 24th, 2017, Packing Safe & Healthy Lunches- Janet Jolly, County Director of Nutrition in Marshall County; What’s for lunch? School in back in session and lunches are packed! Janet will discuss keeping lunches safe, packing healthy lunches according to MyPlate and adding some fun to lunch!

August 31st, 2017, What is 4-H? How Can You Get Involved?-Jennifer Williams, Extension Agent II of Lincoln County; 4-H provides students with opportunities to learn by doing. Kids can experience hands-on projects through in-school programs. Join Jennifer to learn how to get involved.

Doty Springs Revival

Doty Springs Baptist Church will have revival services August 13th – 16th.  Sunday morning service will be at 10:45 a.m. with a fellowship meal following.  Sunday night service will be at 6:00 p.m.  Monday through Wednesday night services will be at 7:00 p.m.  A fellowship meal will follow the Wednesday night service also.  Bro. Words of Truth Teaching Ministries

Words of Truth Teaching Ministries presents a pre concert with Sean Greer and Liberty Quartet at 5:30pm on Tuesday, August 8th with Jason Crabb, Ted DiBiase and the Hinsons following at 6pm. The Holy Ghost Temple Church will be celebrating Friends Meet Family Day on August 6, 2017 at 10:00 am. They request donations for school supplies and refreshments. Rev. Binnie Rhodes from Houston, TX, will be the speaker of the hour. School Supplies will be given out at the 3:00 pm service, on this day. Only children in attendance will be given the school supplies.

The Holy Ghost Temple Church will be celebrating their annual Jesus Day on August 6, 2017 at 3:00 pm. They request donations for school supplies and refreshments; they expect to serve about 100 students from the Winston County Area. Rev. Ivory McDaniel will be the speaker at the 3:00pm service. At the end of that service, refreshments will be served along with distributing of school supplies.

Jesus Day at Holy Ghost Temple Church

On August 6th, 2017, the Holy Ghost Temple Church will be celebrating our annual Jesus Day at 3pm. We are asking for donations for school supplies and refreshments. We are expecting to be serving 100 students from the Winston County area. Rev. Ivory McDonald will be the speaker at the service. At the end, we will be giving out school supplies and serving refreshments.

La Leche League meeting  4th Sat. each month

La Leche League of Louisville meets monthly on the 4th Saturday of each month from 12 to1  p.m. at the County Extension Building. La Leche League offers mother-to-mother support, leaders accredited by La Leche League International, latest breastfeeding information, 24-hour telephone help, and lending library.
