Trail Ride Sept. 22 A Trail Ride will be held on Saturday, September 22 in south Winston County. It will leave the Indian Springs church parking lot at 10 a.m. and return in 5-6 hours. Bring your sack lunch for the trail. Food will be served at the end of the ride by the ladies of Indian Springs.

WMC HealthFair Sept. 29 Winston Medical Center will host its annual healthfair on September 29, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Flu shots will be available on this date along with many other free health services. Free hotdogs will be available. Also, in conjunction with the healthfair, Winston Medical Center will also kick off its 2012-2013 Relay for Life fundraiser by sponsoring a carnival for kids.
The University Medical Center is bringing the emergency transport helicopter for children and adults to tour. The Louisville Fire Department will have the fire trucks available for the kids as well as face painting, cake walks, games, jumpers and other activities for the children.
