Democratic Party meeting set Jan. 31 A called meeting of the municipal Democratic Party will be held on Thursday, January 31, at 6:00 at the city hall auditorium. The purpose of this meeting is to appoint a temporary democratic committee for 2013 municipal elections. All interested members are encouraged to attend. Pancake & Sausage Supper February 1 Magnolia Christian School will hold their 31st Annual Pancake & Sausage Supper on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Donations are accepted. NAACP to hold annual event Feb. 9 The Winston County Branch of the NAACP will sponsor its annual Extravaganza in Black on Saturday, Febnruary 9 at the Pine Ridge Lodge at Lake Tiak O’Khata. Bethlehem Baptist Church host singing Feb. 10 Dove Award- Winning Christian Singer, Author, and Speaker to Make Local Appearance at Bethlehem Baptist Church Hwy 12 Ackerman, MS on February 10th. Ann Downing, a popular soloist on the Gaither Homecoming Video Series, will appear February 10th in Ackerman, MS at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The concert is scheduled to begin at 6 P.M. Steak event Feb. 16 Indian Springs Assembly of God will be serving a Ribeye Steak Supper Saturday, February 16th beginning at 4 p.m. Suggested donation for steak plates will be $12 and for chicken strip plates will be $8. AA Meets Louisville/Winston County Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. beginning the first week of January 2012 on the second floor of the community house. Meetings until then will still take place on Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30 p.m.

The Winston County Paparazzi The Winston County Paparazzi is working with the MSU Extension Office in Louisville to offer monthly meetings for photography enthusiasts.
