FAFSA days March 27 and 28
FAFSA days for seniors and parents will be held at Louisville High
School on March 27th and 28th from 8:30 – 2:30. Seniors and parents
can receive one-on-one assistance in completing federal and state
forms for financial aid. Please contact Tomeka Walker to setup an

United Methodist Churches host Holy Week services
The United Methodist Churches of Winston County invite everyone to
join them in Holy Week Services.
Services are set for:
Wednesday March 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Middleton UMC with Reverend James
Morris bringing the message.
Thursday March 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Whitehall UMC with Reverend David
Meadows bringing the message.
Friday March 29 at 7:00 p.m. Flower Ridge with Reverend Kyle Ivy
bringing the message.
Also the Methodist Ministries will host its annual bake sale which
will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Friday March 29 in front of Tabor Drugs.
There will be cakes, pies, cookies and bread available for your
Easter weekend meals.

Passion play in Kosy March 28
Kosciusko First United Methodist Church presents its 28th annual
Passion Play, His Last Days, a live one-hour outdoor drama, on March
28, 29, 30 (Thurs., Fri., Sat. prior to Easter), at 8:00 PM on the
church’s lawn, Corner of Washington & N. Natchez Streets. Free

Good Friday Prayers and Planting at Dean Park March 29
The Friends of Dean Park, Inc. invites you to participate with us and
the Dean Park Commission in prayer on Good Friday, March 29, 2013, 12
noon – 1:00 p.m. at Dean Park. After the prayers, we will gather at

Moriah revival April 7
The Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church will hold its 2013 Spring

Winston Medical Center Relay for Life Team Hosts Disney Character
Dining Day May 4
Winston Medical Center Relay for Life Team will host a disney
Character Dining Day on May 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Tiak O’
Khata. The cost will be $15.00 per person which includes plenty of
entertainment, lunch, and door prizes. There will be “disney”
characters such as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Snow White, Cinderella,
Tinkerbell, and several more on hand to mingle and entertain the
children. Paige’s Photos will be on hand to take 4×6 photos with the
characters for $5.00 each. The deadline to purchase tickets will be
April 20, 2013 to allow time to prepare proper arrangements. Tickets

Spelling contest May 31
Do you have what it takes to stand against the rest. Sign up to
participate in I’ll Rise End of School Spelling Bee coming May 31,
2013 and June 1, 2013.
Pre-register starts now and ends March 31, 2013. Late registration

Payment must be received along with signup sheet in order to hold
your child’s spot in the Spelling Bee.
All Mississippi Public Private, and Home Schooled Children are
encouraged to compete. No area restriction all children are welcome
Grades Competing: Head Start – 8th. A cash prize up to $350 or 1st,
2nd and 3rd place will be given.

Walking in Wellness each Saturday
A Walking and Wellness group will be walking Saturdays from 9:00am –
10 am at Ivy Park in Louisville. All are invited to come enjoy the
exercise and fun.
Louisville/Winston County Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet Monday
and Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. beginning the first week of January
2012 on the second floor of the community house. Meetings until then
will still take place on Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30 p.m.
The Winston County Paparazzi is working with the MSU Extension Office
in Louisville to offer monthly meetings for photography enthusiasts.
The meetings are the fourth Thursday of each month at the MSU
Extension Office. in Louisville at 6pm and are open to everyone. For
