Tennis for Life camp July 15-19

Class of 1957 to sponsor event July 19

The class of 1957 accepted a request to sponsor class reunions for many classes that never had a class reunion.

The response has been slow but we are hoping you will choose to participate. The activities include:

Friday, July 19 a Get re-acquainted meet, greet and eat at The Imperial Palace on HWY 14 W from 6:30pm until.

Saturday, July 20 a tour of Dean Park on Hwy 15 S at 4pm……refreshments and NAACP Back-to-School Rally at 5pm.

Saturday, July 20 Dinner at The Red Onion Restaurant on Young Crossing Road 6:30pm until 10:00pm.

Sunday, July 21 Mt. Moriah Church service at 11am.

Cost is $60.00 per person.

Golf Tournament July 20

The Louisville Lions Club is hosting the Annual Two Man/Woman Scramble Golf Tournament on July 20, 2013. It will be at the Louisville Country Club, and the entry fee is $45.00 per person. The registration time is from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Nine holes start at 9:15 am. Lunch will be provided, and there will be a door prize drawing. 18 holes start at 1 p.m. Trophies will be given for 1st and 2nd place for 4 flights, and the closest to hole on #7 wins $100.

Prayer Breakfast July 20, 2013

The mother board at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church will host a prayer breakfast Saturday, July 20th at 8:00 a.m. The speaker will be evangelist Martha Moore from Mt. Ary and Mt. Talley Baptist Church.

Hisaw reunion July 20

Hisaw reunion will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013 located at Crystal Ridge Family Life Center in Louisville from 10:00 am until. Please bring covered dish.

The Mt. Pisgah M. B. Church will hold an Appreciation for their pastor and wife (Rev. Donald and Dr. Nola Bryant) on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m.

The guest speaker for the event is Pastor Wayne Benn of Oak Grove M.B. Church of Preston, MS. The public is invited and welcome to attend.

The final service for St. John’s Lutheran Church will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013 with the Reverend Paul Summer, Assistant to the Bishop of the Southeastern Synod, ELCA, preaching.

Enon Baptist Church Revival July 28

Shots required for school

All 7th grade students must have the 7th grade immunization shot before school begins on August 5th. Immunization shots can be given at your local health department or pediatric clinic. If you have any questions please contact the Eiland Middle School office or your local health department.

Walking in Wellness each Saturday

A Walking and Wellness group will be walking Saturdays from 9:00am to 10 am at Ivy Park in Louisville. Walk, Exercise and Tennis Every Saturday morning. All are invited to come enjoy the exercise and fun.

AA Meets

Louisville/Winston County Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. beginning the first week of January 2012 on the second floor of the community house. Meetings until then will still take place on Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30 p.m.

The Winston County Paparazzi on fourth Thurs of each month

The Winston County Paparazzi is working with the MSU Extension Office in Louisville to offer monthly meetings for photography enthusiasts.
