REPM meeting August 1
The Retired Education Personnel of Mississippi meeting will take place on August 1, 2013 at Louisville City Hall. The meeting will begin at 1:00 pm. The speaker is Forest Thigpen, President of the Mississippi Center for Public Policy, and the topic will be on Nuts & bolts of the Charter Schools of Mississippi. A picture will be made of the Noxapater REPM retirees.

Eaves Reunion August 3

EWVFD Supper August 3
The East Winston Volunteer Fire Department will host a a spagetti supper August 3 to help raise funds for the departments projects to improve service and lower insurance rates for the area.
Class of 1973 Meetings Aug. 3
The Class of 1973 will be having two more meetings before their 40th Year Class Reunion. August 3, and August 24, at Louisville City Hall at 2:00 p.m.

63rd MCMILLIN REUNION – August 3 – 4
McMillin and Related Families of Louisville and Winston County will hold their annual reunion at Lake Tiak O’Khata on August 3 and 4.
Come be guests at the cookout on Saturday, August 3 at 6 pm – Cookout will be in the Grove Sunday, Aug 4 at 10:30 am in the Colonial Room, there will be a Buffet lunch: $16.95 per adult.
Jesus Day August 4
The Holy Ghost Temple will be celebrating Jesus Day 2013 on August 4, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Holy Ghost Temple on 128 Hill Street in Louisville, MS. Republican Women Meeting Speaker August 12
Michael Cravens, Chief of Staff for Greg Harper, will be the speaker at the Republican Women Meeting on Monday August 12th at noon at Lake Tiak O’ Khata. Michael will be providing an update on issues in Washington. The public is invited to attend as Michael is from Winston County and always gives a very good presentation of Washington politics.

The Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Family, along with Pastor Rev. Roosevelt Gage, invites all to come and worship in the Annual Summer Revival. Concert-Raffle Drawing August 24
The Louisville Fire Association will be hosting a Bike Ride on August 24, 2013 starting at 6:00 pm. It is open to the public, and costs $20 per bike and $25 with a passenger. There will also be Raffle Drawing at 10:00 pm on August 24 for a custom bike built by Rocky Hill Customs. The Raffle tickets for the bike will be $100 per ticket and include the concert and Bike run. Proceeds go to Louisville Fire Association. There will be a Grayson Capps Concert open to the public at Lake Tiak-O’Khata in the Pine Ridge Lodge later that evening, and the tickets will be $15 each. Gum Branch Baptist Revival Sept 8-11
Revival Services will be held at Gum Branch Baptist Church September 8 -11, Sunday at 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday-Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Brother Grady Crowell will be preaching and Paul Goodin and Susan Blanchard will be the musical entertainment.
Shots required for school
All 7th grade students must have the 7th grade immunization shot before school begins on August 5th. Immunization shots can be given at your local health department or pediatric clinic. If you have any questions, please contact the Eiland Middle School office or your local health department.
Walking in Wellness each Saturday
A Walking and Wellness group will be walking Saturdays from 9:00am to 10 am at Ivy Park in Louisville. Walk, Exercise and Tennis Every Saturday morning. All are invited to come enjoy the exercise and fun.
Louisville/Winston County Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. beginning the first week of January 2012 on the second floor of the community house. Meetings until then will still take place on Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30 p.m.
The Winston County Paparazzi on fourth Thurs of each month
The Winston County Paparazzi is working with the MSU Extension Office in Louisville to offer monthly meetings for photography enthusiasts.
