The family of Elzie and Ardella Adcock will be having their annual family reunion at J. W. Young, Mollie Estes Park, Noxapater, MS, Hwy 15 South, Saturday, August 10, 2013 beginning at 10:00 A.M. There is a playground where the small children will have a place to play and enjoy themselves. The Winston County Chiefs will have meet the Chiefs Day on Saturday, August 10, 2013. The event will kick off at 10:00 am at the field next to Eiland Middle School. There will be different teams from the surrounding areas to participate. The public is invited to attend.

Gospel concert August 11
Darrell & Tojuana, nationally charted Southern Gospel top 40 from Moss Point, MS, will be in concert at Indian Springs Assembly of God, Sunday, August 11th beginning 9:50 a.m. Everyone is invited and a love offering will be received.
Republican Women Meeting Speaker August 12
Michael Cravens, Chief of Staff for Greg Harper, will be the speaker at the Republican Women Meeting on Monday August 12th at noon at Lake Tiak O’ Khata. Michael will be providing an update on issues in Washington. The public is invited to attend as Michael is from Winston County and always gives a very good presentation of Washington politics.
Pleasant Grove U.M. Church Revival August 12-17
The Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Family, along with Pastor Rev. Roosevelt Gage, invites all to come and worship in the Annual Summer Revival. This will take place on August 11, 2013 at 6 pm and on August 12-13 at 7:30 pm. The guest speaker will be Rev. Kevin Carter from Cannon, MS. Concert-Raffle Drawing August 24
The Louisville Fire Association will be hosting a Bike Ride on August 24, 2013 starting at 6:00 pm. It is open to the public, and costs $20 per bike and $25 with a passenger. There will also be Raffle Drawing at 10:00 pm on August 24 for a custom bike built by Rocky Hill Customs. The Raffle tickets for the bike will be $100 per ticket and include the concert and Bike run. Proceeds go to Louisville Fire Association. There will be a Grayson Capps Concert open to the public at Lake Tiak-O’Khata in the Pine Ridge Lodge later that evening, and the tickets will be $15 each. LHS Class of 1983 Reunion August 30-31
Louisville High School Class of 1983 will be having their 30th year class reunion August 30 through August 31. The event will be held at Lake Tiak-O’Khata in Honey Suckle Hall. Gum Branch Baptist Revival Sept 8-11
Revival Services will be held at Gum Branch Baptist Church September 8 -11, Sunday at 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday-Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Brother Grady Crowell will be preaching and Paul Goodin and Susan Blanchard will be the musical entertainment.
Shots required for school
All 7th grade students must have the 7th grade immunization shot before school begins on August 5th. Immunization shots can be given at your local health department or pediatric clinic. If you have any questions, please contact the Eiland Middle School office or your local health department.
Walking in Wellness each Saturday
A Walking and Wellness group will be walking Saturdays from 9:00am to 10 am at Ivy Park in Louisville. Walk, Exercise and Tennis Every Saturday morning. All are invited to come enjoy the exercise and fun.
Louisville/Winston County Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. beginning the first week of January 2012 on the second floor of the community house. Meetings until then will still take place on Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30 p.m.
