County Tornado Relief seeking more donations

With 10 citizens’ lives lost, dozens injured and thousands in need of assistance, the organizers of the Winston County Tornado Relief continue to seek donations.
“Our thoughts and sympathy are with all those impacted by this horrific tornado,” Linda Skelton, Winston County Chamber of Commerce Director, said. “We are here to help support and pickup the pieces and that is why the tornado relief fund has been established.”
The Winston County Tornado Relief fund has been established through the Winston County Economic Development District Partnership which the Chamber of Commerce is a part. The WinstonStrong.com fund is a tax deductible donation and donations may be made online at www. winstonstrong.com or mailed to WinstonStrong Tornado Relief Fund Renasant Bank P.O. Box 389 Louisville, MS 39339. Make checks payable to Winston County Community Development Relief Fund.

A select committee is overseeing the investment of the funds for the best response and rebuilding of Winston County.
“All the donations provided to this fund will help Winston Countians recover from the EF4 tornado,” added Skelton. “We remain WinstonStrong but with our neighbors help we will be stronger.”
