Donation made to Red Cross

The Winston County portion of the American Red Cross has received a $300 donation from the Mt. Olive District Association of Churches.

The Mount Olive District Association of Laymen’s Ministry donated the funds to help local persons impacted by disaster.

The money will be used to assist with relief efforts in local areas. The Red Cross while best known for assisting with disaster relief also assists fire victims in a community.

The American Red Cross never charges a disaster victim for any assistance provided. The American Red Cross is not a government agency and relies on selfless volunteers and generous financial donations to bring life-saving and life-changing services to the communities it serves.
