The ECCC Workforce Development Center is offering CompTIA A+ Essentials/IT Technician Certification. This certification validates the latest skills needed by today’s computer support professionals and confirms a technician’s ability to perform tasks such as installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance, and basic networking.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on September 24, 2013 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for eight consecutive weeks in the Bradford J. Tucker Applied Technologies Center on the Decatur campus.
Thomas Fortenberry will be serving as instructor.
Total cost of the class is $400 which includes the class fee, the book, and two A+ test vouchers. Grant funds, made possible through the Department of Labor, may be available to those applicants that qualify.
