“Introduction to Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)” will cover topics of establishing communications between the computer and the PLC (a microprocessor-based controller designed to provide easily programmed control of almost any type of process) and the basic operation and how its programming language works. The skills learned in this class are in very high demand today. The class is being offered at East Central Community College’s Career Advancement Center located in the old Spartus facility at 921 South Church Street in Louisville.
Classes will be held on eight consecutive Mondays beginning on September 30, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Robert Kilpatrick, advanced skills trainer at the facility, will serve as instructor.
Cost of the class is $175.
