ECCC in Decatur continues to offer day classes at various Video Conference sites located in the College’s five-county district.
The video conferencing classes are offered in an effort to assist students in taking college classes without having to commute to the Decatur campus. With video conferencing, faculty members are actually on the main campus in Decatur and appear simultaneously on video at the four locations.
Video conferencing classes are currently held at the Carthage Career Advancement Center, Integrated Technology Lab in Choctaw, Neshoba Business Enterprise Center and Louisville Career Advancement Center.
Course offerings for the 2013 fall semester include Public Speaking (1 to 2:15 p.m., Monday/Wednesday), Legal Environment of Business (9 to 9:50 a.m., Monday/Wednesday/Friday); General Psychology (10 to 10:50 a.m., Monday/Wednesday/Friday); Intro to Sociology (11 to 11:50 a.m., Monday/Wednesday/Friday); Elementary Spanish I (9:35 to 10:40 a.m., Tuesday/Thursday); Elementary Spanish II (11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday); Western Civilization I (12:55 to 2:10 p.m., Tuesday/Thursday); and College Study Skills (2:30 to 3:45 p.m. Tuesday/Thursday).
Classes begin Wednesday, August 14, 2013.
