Above are members of the 2014 East Central Community College fast-pitch softball team who received honors at the Spring Sports Banquet held recently on the Decatur campus. Award winners and their respective high schools include (seated from left) Kendra Wilson of South Lamar (Ala.) High School, Pitching Award and MACJC All-State; Kaylin Hopkins of Louisville, Base Running Award; Mallory Turner of West Lauderdale, Hustle Award; and (standing from left) Makayla Kelly of Nederland (Texas) High School, Lady Warrior Award; Ty Buckley of Neshoba Central, Most Valuable Player, Most Outstanding Offense, MACJC Player of the Year; All-Region 23 and MACJC All-State; and Haley Stephens of Union, Most Improved.
