EMEPA continues restoration

From EMEPA press release

EMEPA personnel worked throughout Monday night and Tuesday to restore service to a majority of our members that were affected by Monday’s terrible storms. As of 8:30 A.M. Wednesday morning just over 30 Lauderdale County members remain without service. Our crews will continue working in the Allan Swamp area to reconstruct lines and poles that were destroyed by the storm.

In Winston County, just over 1,000 members are currently without service. EMEPA personnel with assistance from Delta, Magnolia, Pearl River Valley, Southwest and Yazoo Valley Electric cooperative employees are committed to restoring electric service to all members capable of taking service as soon as possible.

EMEPA serves more than 36,000 families and businesses in Winston, Kemper, Lauderdale, Clarke, Attala, Neshoba, Newton, Noxubee, Jasper and Wayne counties.
