From staff and press reports
First Baptist Church in Louisville will soon hosts their semi-annual Lil’ Blessings Children’s Consignment Sale. This will be the 3rd year of Lil’ Britches as well as being their 6th sale.
The event will take place at First Baptist from September 14-15, with a pre-sale on September 13.
All proceeds from these sales are used to help fund various local mission projects. Any support and assistance, ranging from consigning much-needed items, volunteer work, or shopping at the sale, will be a blessing.
The first step in the process is for consignors, who are needed to bring clean and gently used children’s items to First Baptist during late August and early September. Drop-off times for these items will be Monday, Sept. 10 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., and Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Next, volunteers are needed to help. All our welcome to help and with so much work to do before and after the sale, it will be critical to have these volunteers.
The Lil’s Blessings Children’s Sale is a perfect opportunity for women and children to benefit from recycled items, such as strollers, shoes, shirts, toys, books, car seats and swings.
First Baptist would like assistance in promoting this event to other churches and their members who might be willing to consign, volunteer, or need a good place to shop.
