This year, Fair Elementary will be observing Red Ribbon week on October 28th – November 1st. Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention program. Our students pledge to remain drug-free while participating in some fun awareness activities. Monday will be “Sock It To Drugs Day.” Students and staff can wear some of their craziest socks on this day. Tuesday will be “Too Cool For Drugs Day.” Students and staff may wear some cool or funny sunglasses this day. Wednesday is “I’m Too Bright For Drugs Day.” Students and staff can wear neon shirts with uniform bottoms on this day. Thursday is “Put A Cap On Drugs Day.” Students and staff can wear caps on this day. Friday is “Wildcats Don’t Do Drugs Day.” Students and staff can wear a spirit shirt and uniform bottoms on this day. This week will allow the students and staff to participate in fun activities as well as learn about the importance of being Drug-Free!
We are off to a great start with our Box Tops! We will be taking Box Tops all year long. Here are some tips that will make the submission process for Fair Elementary easier.
Use a collection sheet – students may get one from their teacher or parents can go to BTFE.com to download one.
Let me know the total number of Box Tops your child is submitting and please be sure and write your child’s name on the envelope, collection sheet, or Ziploc bag.
Thank you in advance for your support!!
