donation of uniforms to our clothing closet. We greatly appreciate
any and all donations!
Fair Elementary’s Kindergarten Registration will be held on April 9th
-11th from 8:00 am until 2:30 pm. Students must be 5 years old on or
before September 1, 2013 to be eligible for the Kindergarten
program. You will need to bring the following documents along with
the registration form in order for your child’s registration to be
• Birth Certificate
• Social Security card or number
• 2 proofs of residency (address where the student lives with parent/
• Immunization form (shot record marked “complete for school” or date
of the next shot due if it is before September 1, 2013.
Computers for Education Booklets have been sent home with
students this week. Please return these by Thursday, April 11, 2013.
Parents are not out of pocket any money for these booklets; all you
have to do is provide us with 11 addresses. Fair Elementary will
earn money for every booklet that is completed and turned in.
Fair Elementary is still selling cookbooks as a fundraiser for
Relay for Life. The cookbooks are $10.00 each and contain recipes
from local parents, teachers, and some students. If you are
interested in purchasing a “Cooking for a Cause” cookbook, please
come by Fair Elementary School’s office. We appreciate your help and
support in raising money for Relay for Life.
Fair Elementary is hosting a spring “Be A Hero” blood drive on
April 26th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Bloodmobile. Students will
be sent home with a parent letter this week. Please send the bottom
portion back after completion by April 12th, 2013. A special “Hero”
T-shirt will be given to every student who recruits a SUCCESSFUL
blood donor. You can go online to schedule an appointment @
www.bloodhero.com and use sponsor code: fairbeahero. You can save
time by completing the health history questionnaire online before you
donate blood. Simply go to www.UnitedBloodServices.org/
Be sure to print the Fast Track Donation Ticket and bring it with you
to the blood drive. We can all help our community by rolling up our
sleeves and giving someone the “Gift of Life”!
