The Noxapater slow-pitch softball team will be looking to get its hits in bunches as the Lady Tigers visit East Webster on Thursday, before hosting Sebastopol on Monday.
“The problem we are having right now is that we just can’t put our hits together,” said Noxapater head coach Jodi Duran. “You have to do that in order to be productive. We have got to get our bats going.”
The Lady Tigers fell short in that mission last Thursday as they dropped a 7-3 home game to Ethel. Kiera Phillips had a triple and single and scored two of Noxapater’s three runs in the game, while Breanna Glass and Emily Mills had a single each.
After the games with East Webster and Sebastopol the Lady Tigers will go on a three-game road trip, visiting Kosciusko on Sept. 12, Ethel on Sept. 16 and Sebastopol on Sept. 19.
