After having all their games washed out last week, the Lady Warriors of Nanih Waiya High School began a busy week on Monday by taking an 11-0 win over arch rival Noxapater.

It was the first of five games on tap for Nanih Waiya this week. The Lady Warriors are set to visit West Lowndes on Thursday, host Choctaw Central on Friday and then play Union and Northeast Lauderdale in the Newton County Tournament in Decatur on Saturday. Ryan Holdiness fired a complete game fiveinning one-hitter on Monday, striking out eight and not walking a batter. She also blasted a home run for the Lady Warriors. Hope Thames had a triple for the winners, while Marlee Parkes, Livia Bush and Reagan Holdiness ripped two singles each and Allyana Lovorn chipped in with a single. Parkes had two RBIs for the winners, while Ashley Thames, Hope Thames and Bush scored two runs each. The win pushed the Lady Warriors to 9-4 overall on the season and 1-0 in league play.
