Lake Tiak O’Khata honors employees for service

Lake Tiak O’Khata has been a destination and vacation spot for many years. Those visitors have been welcomed by smiling faces with many of those smiling faces having been around for more than 20 years.

Recently, Lake Tiak O’Khata celebrated their employees who had been employed over 20 years. The Lake owners honored: Lee Autry Sherrod, 36 years; Leather Moore, 40 years; Flo Parker, 39 years; Goldie Coleman, 36 years; Rosemary Love, 42 years; Lennon Goss, 25 years and 4 months; and Cheryl Lindsey, 23 years.

“This are a special group of people…they are dedicated and loyal,” said Steve White.

The honored staff members contributed their longevity at Lake Tiak O’Khata to “Having very good bosses.”

“We appreciate our employers,” said Rosemary Love.

Lake Tiak O’Khata is a locally owned restaurant and hotel. With a full service restaurant including six private rooms, two conference centers, a lakeside motel, waterfront cabins, efficiency suites, and an experienced staff, all-waiting for vacation families.
