Clinton, MS watercolorist Wyatt Waters (left) and editorial cartoonist for the Clarion Ledger Marshall Ramsay (right) at the Winston County Library Tuesday, December 1st. Waters brought his 2016 illustrated calendar, Oxford, MS book, coffee mugs and other items he had painted. Ramsey brought his new book, Chainsaws and Casseroles and his children’s alphabet book, Banjo’s Dream. The first story featured in his Chainsaws and Casseroles book is based on Louisville, MS after the 2014 tornado. Ramsey mentioned that he is doing a 20th anniversary book next year and would love to return to Louisville for another book signing. Waters also mentioned that he and Robert St. John are collaborating again on a Mississippi Cookbook, to be published next fall and would love to come to Louisville for a joint book signing, also. “It is always such a joy to have Wyatt Waters come each December to our library and we were so pleased that Marshall Ramsey could come at the same time. It has been a long time since Marshall was able to come to our library and everyone was so happy to see them both,” said librarian Beth Edwards.
