Lions Club to host annual golf tournament

The Louisville Lions Club continues its annual tradition of friendly competition and fellowship as its hosts its Golf Tournament/2 Person Scramble August 6 at the Louisville Country Club.

This year’s entry fee is $50 per person, with a registration period on the day of the tournament from 8:15-8:45 a.m. The 9 Holes will start at 9:15 a.m. and the 18 holes will start at 1 p.m. Lunch at clubhouse will be provided, as well as a number of door prizes to be awarded.

Trophies will be given for First and Second place for 4 flights. The tournament will feature its annual Closest to Hole prize on #7, with the golfer hitting their ball the closest to the pin receiving $100.

-Building or expanding 593 eye hospitals/clinics/wards
-Conducting more than 17 million vision screenings for children through Sight for Kids
-Providing vision screening for more than 300,000 Special Olympics athletes from 85 countries through Opening Eyes
